Elizabeth was desperate for Jamie to know how much he had hurt and disrespected her in front of their friends.
But instead of apologizing, Jamie turned the fight around on his wife and blamed her for embarrassing him and ruining everyone's day with her bad attitude.
"I feel good about that argument!" Pastor Cal said during a Wednesday night appearance on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered.
"Yeah!" he reiterated, before telling Elizabeth, "you actually care!"
When Jamie repeatedly told Elizabeth to shut up at the racetrack, the day was ruined for Elizabeth. She sat on the sidelines pouting and often complained to her co-stars about how Jamie had a habit of mistreating her.
Jamie admitted to cameras that telling Elizabeth to shut up was "messed up" and "wrong," but he never told her that. He just accused her of acting like a brat.
When Elizabeth watched back the explosive moment in which she knocked over the coffee table to prove her point, she gave herself props and felt she had done the right thing.
"Amen, honey! As you can see, he's blaming me for embarrassing both of us and... I don't just wake up wanting to embarrass us. So the next day, I was tired and I was tired of fighting and he just kept coming at me that whole day," Elizabeth explained.

"And so finally, the only way I could get him to get away from me was to shake the room a little bit so he could understand the severity of where I was. And the two-pound coffee table was just the closest object I could take my anger out on... I showed him!"

When asked to give Elizabeth advice on the situation that had unfolded, Pastor Cal said, "I don't think the argument is the problem. I think it's how you handle the argument."
"Because the fact that you're arguing, it means you're communicating," he explained. "All you need to do now is learn how to contain it. And once you learn how to contain all that passion, you're going to be fine."
"There's so much passion between Jamie and I," Elizabeth agreed. "So much passion."
"There really is," Pastor Cal noted.
Elizabeth and Jamie ended up working through their issues and reconciling.
"I can't believe we talk to each other," Elizabeth said on Unfiltered with a laugh.
"It's funny to watch us go at these moments and be so mean to each other but at the end of the day, we're like, 'Oh, but I love you so much! You're so amazing! Stop.' That's the way it is."

"It's unacceptable," Pastor Cal said. "As a man, you have a responsibility to protect your wife, and that's not just physically but verbally and emotionally."
"Whenever a man speaks those just very negative and very sharp and just disrespectful things, it kind of changes something inside you," he added.
Jamie's actions ruined the triple date for Elizabeth and resulted her sitting on the sidelines pouting and complaining to her co-stars about how Jamie had a habit of mistreating her.
"I think that's why I exploded. I've never had anyone talk to me like that!" Elizabeth explained on Unfiltered.
"I think it's one thing to argue behind closed doors and get that out, but to do it in front of everyone else, that's just downright embarrassing and disrespectful."
During the Unfiltered broadcast, Amber Bowles also said there isn't any emotional intimacy in her marriage to her husband Matthew Gwynne and his idea of being intimate is watching ESPN together.
"It was Matt's idea but I gladly jumped onboard," Amber said about the couple's decision to stop sleeping together in order to determine if they had a deeper connection that went beyond just the physical.
"Physical chemistry isn't something we really need to work on, it's definitely emotional chemistry."
"There's nothing there when it comes to emotionally between us, because he's not expressive," Amber revealed.
"I think it's just healthy for us to take the physical chemistry off the table to see if there's anything left."
Pastor Cal then asked Amber if Matt had been doing anything, beyond sexual intercourse, to improve their emotional connection.

"No," Amber firmly replied. "Like, I mean other than turning on SportsCenter and being like, 'Want to watch this game?'"
"Like, no," she shrugged.
Elizabeth had then told Amber not to settle for Matt's behavior.
"Amber, don't settle for this nonsense," Elizabeth said. "You don't deserve this, and you can do so much better than this, honey. He definitely doesn't have enough commas in his bank account to treat you like this!"
Amber thanked Elizabeth for her support and then proudly tossed her hair behind one shoulder.
"He doesn't have any commas," Amber revealed with a smile and some sass.
"So sit down, Matt, and take notes. Okay?!" Elizabeth added.
In addition to Elizabeth, Jamie, Amber, and Matt, Married at First Sight's currently-airing ninth season also stars Iris Caldwell and Keith Manley, and Deonna McNeill and Gregory Okotie.
