"Shut up and listen!" Jamie yelled at his wife in front of their co-stars Amber Bowles, Deonna McNeill and Gregory Okotie. "Shut up for five minutes!"
After Pastor Cal, Elizabeth and Amber watched back that Season 9 clip during an appearance on Wednesday's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Pastor Cal appeared very disappointed in Jamie.
"It's unacceptable," Pastor Cal said. "As a man, you have a responsibility to protect your wife, and that's not just physically but verbally and emotionally."
Jamie's actions ruined the triple date for Elizabeth that day. She sat on the sidelines pouting and often complained to her co-stars about how Jamie had a habit of mistreating her.
"I think that's why I exploded. I've never had anyone talk to me like that!" Elizabeth explained on Unfiltered.
"I think it's one thing to argue behind closed doors and get that out, but to do it in front of everyone else, that's just downright embarrassing and disrespectful."
Jamie admitted to cameras that telling Elizabeth to shut up was "messed up" and "wrong," but he didn't apologize that day and instead grew increasingly more angry about the fact Elizabeth ended up ruining the day for everyone else.
"I'm not just going to let somebody tell me to shut up and not say something back to you. Like, no, that's not acceptable," Elizabeth argued in her own defense.

Amber was then asked to give her perspective on Elizabeth and Jamie having an explosive fight right in front of her at the racetrack.

"I was really frustrated. It made me feel uncomfortable and it made me want to step forward, but I just didn't have the words," Amber insisted.
"I've never heard someone talk to someone like that. I mean, I've heard 13-year-olds talk to someone like that, but I've never heard an adult male, like 35, talk to another human like that."
Pastor Cal seemed to understand why Elizabeth flipped out that day and got so angry.
"Whenever a man speaks those just very negative and very sharp and just disrespectful things, it kind of changes something inside you," Pastor Cal said.
Pastor Cal told Elizabeth, "But it's not that it can't be repaired. But if that continues, you're going to start building walls. The more you express yourself and the more you stand up for yourself, let him know that the way he's treating you is not who you are and that's not what you're going to accept."
"Yeah, like every action has a reaction," Elizabeth noted.
"Absolutely," Pastor Cal agreed.
"And if you're going to talk to me like that," Elizabeth continued, "then don't be upset when you have the reaction coming back at you."

Jamie and Elizabeth's fight progressed into the evening and resulted in Elizabeth crying and flipping over the coffee table in their apartment. Elizabeth was desperate to get through to Jamie that she had been really hurt and offended by his words.
Jamie and Elizabeth, however, ended up working through their issues and reconciling.
During the Unfiltered broadcast, Amber also said there is no emotional intimacy in her marriage to her husband Matthew Gwynne and his idea of being intimate is allegedly watching ESPN together.
"It was Matt's idea but I gladly jumped onboard," Amber said about the couple's decision to stop sleeping together in order to determine if they had a deeper connection that went beyond just the physical.
"Physical chemistry isn't something we really need to work on, it's definitely emotional chemistry."
"There's nothing there when it comes to emotionally between us, because he's not expressive," Amber shared.
"I think it's just healthy for us to take the physical chemistry off the table to see if there's anything left."
Pastor Cal then asked Amber if Matt had been doing anything, excluding sexual intercourse, to improve their emotional connection.

Jamie suggested giving Amber a massage, for example, which then prompted Elizabeth to throw out the idea of Matt drawing his wife a hot bath.
"Is there anything he's doing?" Pastor Cal reiterated. "And I don't mean after you initiate. Is he initiating intimacy?"

"Like, no," she shrugged.
Elizabeth had then urged Amber not to settle for Matt's behavior.
"Amber, don't settle for this nonsense," Elizabeth said. "You don't deserve this, and you can do so much better than this, honey. He definitely doesn't have enough commas in his bank account to treat you like this!"
Amber thanked Elizabeth for her support and then proudly tossed her hair behind one shoulder.
"He doesn't have any commas," Amber revealed with a smile and some sass.
"So sit down, Matt, and take notes. Okay?!" Elizabeth added.
In addition to Elizabeth, Jamie, Amber and Matt, Married at First Sight's currently-airing ninth season also stars Iris Caldwell, Keith Manley, Gregory Okotie and Deonna McNeill.
