Married at First Sight stars Pastor Calvin Roberson, Elizabeth Bice and Amber Bowles all believe Keith Manley needs to be honest with wife Iris Caldwell about his feelings and how he's not sure he's happy in their marriage.

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Pastor Cal, Elizabeth and Amber watched back a Season 9 clip in which Keith opened up to his mother about Iris' alleged lack of emotional maturity and how she deserves someone who wants to "learn her in and out," seemingly suggesting he may not be that guy.

Keith's mother therefore asked her son whether Iris made him happy, and Keith simply responded, "I don't know."

"Whoa! Did not see that coming," Amber admitted on Unfiltered.

"I'm confused," Elizabeth noted. "I'm so confused. I think I'm confused because just knowing, you know, and seeing them interact up to this point, you don't see it like that!"

Amber enthusiastically shook her head side to side in agreement.

Pastor Cal said Keith was apparently too focused on being polite in his marriage.

"I think he wants to be nice and respectful, which I respect. That's great. He's not trying to be a jerk," Pastor Cal explained.

"But being a nice guy and not being a jerk doesn't mean you have to be disingenuous. He needs to be completely honest about his feelings. You can relay anything in a nice way!"

Unfiltered host Jamie Otis asked Amber and Elizabeth whether they believed Iris was aware Keith had been feeling that way for a while.

"No, she has no idea," Amber said.

"No," Elizabeth agreed.

"He's more direct with his mom than he is with her, and that's unfortunate," Pastor Cal chimed in.

Elizabeth then accused Keith of beating around the bush a little bit in conversations they've had as friends.

"Sometimes you don't get a straight answer from Keith. I feel like he kind of gives you the run-around of what you want to hear. So, seeing this part of him, it definitely is an eye-opener," Elizabeth shared.

"It's like, 'Okay, so this is what you're kind of dancing around to.' I feel like Keith just needs to..."

"Be honest," Amber interjected. "Be direct."

"You kind of just have to stop playing 'nice guy' and you've just got to shoot straight to the point sometimes, whether it's going to hurt somebody's feelings or not," Elizabeth concluded.

Pastor Cal seemed to be in total agreeance, nodding his head as Elizabeth spoke her piece.

"It turns out that's actually nicer though," Jamie said on how to handle this situation, "because you're not leading someone on."

"Exactly," Elizabeth noted.

Amber then offered her opinion on whether Iris seemed to have stronger feelings for Keith than Keith seemed to have for his wife.

"I mean, I haven't talked to Keith, so I really can't evaluate his feelings for Iris," Amber responded.

"But I know Iris feels deeply for Keith, and I know she is getting to that point where she's really starting to fall for him. So I wish Keith could be direct and tell her exactly what he's feeling because that's a place to start."

Elizabeth later joked Keith wouldn't have to be loud and blunt about his feelings like she would be, but "there are other ways" to come clean to Iris.

Earlier in the Unfiltered broadcast, Pastor Cal also weighed-in on the moment Elizabeth's husband Jamie Thompson told her to "shut up" during a group outing at a racetrack -- and he definitely wasn't happy about it.

"It's unacceptable," Pastor Cal said. "As a man, you have a responsibility to protect your wife, and that's not just physically but verbally and emotionally."

"Whenever a man speaks those just very negative and very sharp and just disrespectful things, it kind of changes something inside you," he added.

In addition, the Unfiltered broadcast also featured Amber lamenting there is no emotional intimacy in her marriage to Matthew Gwynne and saying his idea of being intimate is watching ESPN together.

"It was Matt's idea but I gladly jumped onboard," Amber said about the couple's decision to stop sleeping together to determine if they had a connection that went beyond just the physical.

"Physical chemistry isn't something we really need to work on, it's definitely emotional chemistry."

"There's nothing there when it comes to emotionally between us, because he's not expressive," Amber continued.

"I think it's just healthy for us to take the physical chemistry off the table to see if there's anything left."

Pastor Cal then asked Amber if Matt had been doing anything at all to attempt to improve their emotional connection.

"Is there anything he's doing?" Pastor Cal reiterated. "And I don't mean after you initiate. Is he initiating intimacy?"

"No," Amber firmly replied. "Like, I mean other than turning on SportsCenter and being like, 'Want to watch this game?'"

"Like, no," she shrugged.

Married at First Sight's currently-airing ninth season on Lifetime also stars Deonna McNeill and Gregory Okotie.
