Married at First Sight featured Alyssa Ellman marrying Chris Collette and complaining about his looks, Noi tying the knot with Steve Moy and the couple feeling a spark, and Olajuwon calling Katina a dream come true as she also felt smitten with her new husband during the Season 14 episode that aired Wednesday night on Lifetime.

The couples matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Viviana Coles and Pastor Calvin Roberson are Lindsey and Mark, Alyssa and Chris, Jasmina and Michael, Katina and Olajuwon, and Noi and Steve.

The Married at First Sight broadcast began with Noi, a hopeless romantic who believes in love at first sight, walking down the aisle to meet her groom, Steve, for the first time.
Steve told his bride that she looked "beautiful," and she noted how he looked great too. Noi got a chuckle out of the crowd when she pointed out how Steve's last name Moy rhymes with her first name.
Noi's family and friends wanted Steve to know that Noi has a wild alter ego named Noizy and she loves to dance and is silly and wears wigs. They told Steve that family and culture is very important to Noi and she enjoys cooking meals from the ocean.
"Noi's upbringing is quite unique. We ask that you keep a considerate and open mind to her," the officiant read, which made Noi cry.
Noi learned Steve is part of a big family and he loves spending time with them as well as his nine nieces and nephews. Noi whispered how she loves kids, and then Steve's loved ones shared how Steve takes a lot of trips and may pack up at the spare of the moment.

While Steve takes on a lot of adventures, Noi was assured her groom was ready to settle down.
In their self-written vows, Noi said she had hope the best was yet to come and she was so happy to meet him. She said if there's a life after this, she promised to meet him there too.
Steve promised to enter the marriage with an open heart, and open mind and the highest of hopes. He said he couldn't wait to see what they'd be capable of creating together and he hoped their union would last forever.
Just in case Noi didn't like her diamond ring, Steve brought a ring pop with him just in case -- and the gesture made Noi laugh.
The pair shared a sweet kiss after exchanging vows, and Steve gushed, "I don't think this could have gone any better! I'm attracted to my wife; I think she's beautiful. As far as chemistry goes, I sense something there for sure."

Noi felt calm after her wedding, and Steve looked forward to getting to know his bride. They quickly felt comfortable around each other, and Noi called him "sweet and really funny."
While there were many unknowns about the future, Steve thought his marriage stood a pretty good chance.
It then became time for Alyssa's wedding day, and Alyssa told her bridesmaids, "I hope he's hot!"
Chris had been in long relationships but never with the person he was going to marry and spend the rest of his life with. Chris felt confident this was going to be a great match because he said he trusted the experts more than he trusted himself with dating.

Chris said there's no risk he wouldn't take to achieve a life partner whom he could love and spend forever with; however, he admitted he was nervous and needed to pretend he's totally comfortable.
Pastor Cal told the cameras the experts had matched Chris and Alyssa because they are both direct and honest communicators seeking a deep connection. They believed Chris could give Alyssa the security she needs to thrive as a wife and Alyssa's fun-loving demeanor would even out Chris' goal-oriented lifestyle.
Alyssa's last serious relationship was two years prior, and she said she wanted to find "a husband, not a boyfriend." She always thought she'd be engaged by age 30, and so she insisted she was ready for this.
"After me and my ex broke up, I had gone on so many dates, and not one person is anything that I'm looking for. It was an absurd pattern, so I chose to get married at first sight and put into the universe what I want," Alyssa explained.
"If I didn't think this would work out, I feel like my gut would tell me that. And usually I'm right."
Alyssa, however, started her wedding day with realistic expectations, knowing there was a chance her marriage could fail and possibly end in divorce.
Alyssa said she needed a physical attraction to be with someone for a lifetime and she hoped to be happy upon walking down the aisle.
Alyssa then read a letter from her future husband before the ceremony, and his sweet words -- about fate and trusting her "inner compass" -- made Alyssa cry. She said her groom knew exactly what she wanted to hear and it felt really good.
"The only thing I can think of is that I hope he thinks I'm cute, and I hope that I think he's cute. Hopefully that's the case," Alyssa said.
Alyssa decided to walk herself down the aisle since her father had back injuries and can't walk very well. She also noted how she's an independent person and so being alone made sense to her.
Before walking down the aisle, Alyssa repeated again how she hoped she would be attracted to her husband from the beginning.

"Teeth are huge," she added. "I take really good of my teeth and a nice smile is really important. If I turn the corner and he has snaggle teeth, I would have to say, 'This was fun! This was fun while it lasted. Is there a dentist in the room?!"
Chris smiled big when he saw his bride for the first time, and she admitted she was a little nervous. Chris told Alyssa that he liked her bouquet and thought she had picked out a beautiful dress.
He also called her golden cowgirl boots "awesome."

Alyssa's friends and family told Chris that he's an incredibly lucky man. He learned she's a straight shooter who would speak her mind -- about the good and the bad -- and she's honest and forthright, sometimes a little too much of both.
"You'll always be able to know if something is bothering her. Her face will say it all," the officiant read.
And Chris was told that Alyssa loves dogs, especially her 10-year-old lab mix Penelope, and he'd need to accept being second sometimes. Chris discovered Alyssa has a huge heart and would make him feel honored and special each and every day.
Chris' loved ones shared with Alyssa how he's an extremely driven and goal-achieving man. Since Chris can be a bit of a workaholic, Alyssa was advised to encourage him to take a break.
The pair then exchanged personal vows, and Chris vowed to bring adventure, excitement and joy to her life. He promised to hear and listen to her words, actions and feelings. Chris said he would earn Alyssa's trust every day as her husband, partner and best friend.
"Starting today, I vow to build love with you," Chris noted.
In turn, Alyssa said she loves animals more than people and would jump out of a moving car to save a dog. She vowed to be honest and direct with Chris as well as treat him with kindness and respect and to treat each day in the future as a new adventure.
Once the couple tied the knot, they kissed and broke a glass together.

Chris said he found Alyssa "really attractive" and thought she's both "beautiful" and "fantastic." He noticed that his wife smelled good and they had the beginning of a spark. Chris said if he had a type, Alyssa would fit into it.
During their first conversation, Alyssa said she does social media and marketing for a construction company, and she asked Chris if he's ever ridden a horse before. Chris shared how his sister owns horses in Florida but he hasn't been on a horse since he was little.
Chris -- a real estate agent -- then told Alyssa that he plays disc golf or Frisbee golf and is Vice President of the New England Disc Golf Association.
"Oh my f-cking God. I mean, I would let him teach me how to play, but I don't think it will be an activity of mine that I will take on," Alyssa said with a laugh.
Alyssa found taking pictures a bit awkward because she's not a mushy person, and Chris appreciated how she had been blunt and direct about her dislike of PDA. Chris, however, admitted he's an affectionate person.
Meanwhile, Katina and Olajuwon were shown taking their wedding photos. Katina said her union felt right and good, and Olajuwon called this match "a dream come true."

"Her lips are soft and juicy, and I feel loyalty behind them and trust... I am just so blessed!" Olajuwon gushed, adding that he was ready and dedicated to this marriage and would no longer live a selfish lifestyle.

Noi and Steve also introduced themselves to each other's family members and took their wedding photos, and then Noi -- whose family came from Laos -- put a sash on Steve to honor her Laotian roots.
The couples proceeded to have their first dance, and Katina said she was "feeling mushy, gushy and all of that lovey-dovey stuff you see in the movies."
"I got to feel the structure of his body, so that was nice. His body feels strong, like sculpted! I was like, 'Okay!'" Katina said.
"I can tell he's a kind soul... I can already see why I was matched with [him]. And the fact I can already see that, I'm looking forward to the future."

Katina and Olajuwon were also on the same page about wanting to travel and then have kids in two to three years. But Olajuwon wanted a wife who would cook for him, and so he told the cameras his bride would have to learn now.
Noi and Steve discussed how many children they'd like to have, and Steve said, "Two," to which she replied, "I want three."
"I can give you three," Steve said with a big smile.
Over at Lindsey and Mark's wedding, Lindsey said she was feeling great and hoped Mark would be able to keep up with her. Lindsey told Mark that she had been looking for a man with good qualities, character and values, and Mark complimented her for being "a tough cookie."
Mark could tell that Lindsey has layers to her, and he asked to see her lovable and sweet side to her. Lindsey said she had been burned a lot but she shows a man her true colors once she trusts him.
Mark told the cameras that once Lindsey determined he was on the show for love, he's probably see more love from her and a little less energy.

"I'm excited to see Lindsey when she's quiet. I'm excited to see Lindsey when the sun goes down," Mark joked.
Mark, whose father had died two years prior, then asked Lindsey's father and brother for permission to marry Lindsey, and the men gave Mark their blessing. Lindsey's father said Lindsey is very kind in that she's got a good heart and will buy homeless people lunch.
While enjoying dinner, Steve shared with Noi how he had worked in software sales before getting laid off and then going on a four-month road trip for no good reason.
Noi seemed a little worried upon discovering Steve was actually unemployed or between jobs.
Although she was surprised, Noi said Steve's situation sounded like a temporary one and so she wasn't going to harp on it or stress about it.
During their dinner, Alyssa demanded that they live in Scituate, and she didn't want to kiss her husband when the guests tapped on their glasses. Alyssa said she doesn't succumb to peer pressure, but Chris really wanted to kiss his wife.

"I genuinely don't know if I'm her type or not. I hope I am because holy crap, she's beautiful," Chris said.
Alyssa wasn't sure whether this marriage was going to last after spending a couple of hours with Chris, and she said she needed time to process everything and put the pieces together.
Over at Jasmina and Michael's wedding, Michael revealed his schedule is crazy because he woke up at 4AM and arrived home at around 7PM on weekdays. He also trained some clients on the weekends, and Jasmina just hoped she would come first and her husband would be vulnerable for her.
Jasmina, however, felt loved and accepted by Michael's family when his sisters pinned a pink breast-cancer awareness ribbon on her dress in memory of Michael's deceased mother.
Michael learned from Jasmina's mother how "quiet is not good" and he needed to communicate well with his wife. However, Michael was told to be vulnerable but not too soft.

After cutting the cake, the brides and grooms got to know their significant other's friends.
Katina was told that patience is huge with Olajuwon, who has ADHD, and she may need to explain something to her husband multiple times for him to understand what she's trying to say. Olajuwon's friends said Olajuwon may try to mold Katina to be the lady he wants.
Olajuwon promised Katina's mother that he's an honest man, although easily distracted, and it drove her crazy how Olajuwon kept calling his wife "Katrina."
Later in the evening, Chris found out from Alyssa's mother that Alyssa liked him. However, Alyssa's mother advised Chris to give Alyssa space when she's upset and just allow her to "rant and rave." Chris actually liked the idea his wife was "a force of nature."
When Alyssa talked to Chris' groomsmen, the conversation had a negative affect on Alyssa and her outlook on the future of her marriage.
Alyssa said she could tell Chris seemed "kind" when first meeting him, and then she got a lot of advice.

Alyssa was told Chris is a natural teacher who wants to bring out the best in people and so if he ever came across "condescending," it would be coming from a good place in which he's trying to teach her something and become a better person.
One pal told Alyssa that if Chris became overbearing or harped on something too much, she should change the subject and get him talking about something else because "he loves a monologue."
And a third groomsman said, "Don't be afraid to stick to your guns, even if he says, 'You're wrong, you're wrong, you're wrong.'"
Alyssa's bridesmaids told Chris that Alyssa had never dated nice guys and so Chris was a little out of her comfort zone, but Chris assured them that he can be "an assh-le" and has some edge. He also said he has the thickest skin in the world.
Alyssa's bridesmaids said Alyssa liked Chris but it would take time and work to open her up. The girls even thought Alyssa would sleep alone on her wedding night and not cuddle much, at least at first.
Alyssa lamented in a confessional about how she's not sure how she would put up with that kind of behavior.

Once the weddings were over, each couple headed to their hotel room for the night.
Lindsey and Katina both said they had no plans to have sex that evening. In fact, Katina told her friends that she'd like to wait a month to have sex.
Olajuwon gushed about keeping faith in love and how he owed the experts for introducing him to such an amazing woman, a dream come true.
And Steve shared with Noi's brother how he had no expectations for physical intimacy that evening.
Before getting into bed, the brides took their makeup off and removed their heavy dresses. Michael gushed about Jasmina's beautiful smile, and she could tell he was going to be a gentleman. The couple fell asleep cuddling.
Lindsey and Mark also cuddled as well as Noi and Steve and Katina and Olajuwon.

Olajuwon said he'd be willing to do anything his wife wanted and if she desired sex, he would "rock her show."
But Alyssa was missing in action and closed herself into a room with a producer while Chris waited outside the room.
Alyssa was upset about what Chris' groomsmen had said, and she recalled getting turned off when Chris playfully called himself "Alyssa's side piece" in an elevator.
"He may be a little immature. He wouldn't normally be my type," Alyssa said, breaking down into tears. "I don't want to get upset. I don't want this on camera."
Alyssa vented to a producer once the camera was off her face that she and Chris are "so different" and she didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the same room as her husband.
"Physically, I do not see one characteristic in him that I asked for," Alyssa complained. "Do I sit with him and tell him this? What do you do in these situations?"
Once Alyssa exited the room, she apologized to Chris for making him sit by himself for so long. She said there had been things that were said that didn't sit well with her.
"I don't know what this is, but I had a really good day today. I want you to know that. I'm sorry if I did anything," Chris said. "What do you want to do?"
"I think what's best for right now is get some sleep, because it's been a super long day," Alyssa replied.
"Okay, is there anything you want to know?" Chris asked.
"No, not right now," Alyssa responded.
"Okay, I'm sorry to hear that," Chris noted.

Alyssa then walked away from Chris, who appeared deflated and sad.
