Married at First Sight's couples participated in activities that took them far out of their comfort zones during Tuesday night's Season 7 broadcast on Lifetime.

The three Dallas-based couples who tied the knot at first sight on Season 7 were Amber Martorana, a 36-year-old division order analyst, and Dave Flaherty, a 37-year-old senior portfolio manager; Bobby Dodd, a 27-year-old project manager, and Danielle Bergman, a 30-year-old account executive; and Mia Bally, a 29-year-old airline recruiter; and Tristan Thompson, a 29-year-old former collegiate and semi-pro basketball player who recently started a tutoring center business.

They were matched by the following Married at First Sight experts: Psychologist Dr. Jessica Griffin, sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and marriage counselor Pastor Calvin Roberson.
The Married at First Sight broadcast began on Day 32 of marriage, with Amber and Dave meeting with Dr. Pepper for their one-month check-in.

Dave and Amber discussed having a bit of a tumultuous relationship, with a lot of ups and downs. Dave admitted Amber had "strong emotional reactions to little things at times."
For instance, Amber couldn't find her socks that morning and had a mini-meltdown. Dave just tried to be patient and understand, and Amber was afraid her husband found her annoying.
"It's very difficult for us to communicate with me being so emotional. You can pretty much always tell how I'm feeling, and Dave is not that way. He takes himself a lot more seriously than I do with what he reveals about his feelings," Amber explained.
"I think I share too much and he kind of gets overwhelmed and then holds back so much to where I don't know what he's thinking or feeling. I can never read him, and so it makes me feel really insecure, like he doesn't want to be with me."

Dave said there was a big learning curve in this Married at First Sight process, as he needs to accept and work with whatever Amber's "crazy" is -- although he didn't sign up to deal with that to begin with.
"This is who Amber is, and it's an adjustment I need to make," Dave said, later adding that he could learn how to move on from Amber's outbursts quickly and not dwell on them as to avoid ruining his mood.
Dr. Pepper then met with Tristan and Mia, who were not in "crisis mode" this time. Tristan "felt good" and "at peace" in his marriage -- despite external factors such as his job and potentially moving -- and Mia finally came around to the idea of moving to Houston, TX.
Mia acknowledged marriage was about compromise and mutually support, and so she was ready to move in order to benefit Tristan's career that had already suffered "record-breaking losses," according to Tristan.
Mia was actually excited about moving, seemingly because she felt secure and confident in her marriage.

Next up was Dr. Pepper's visit with Bobby and Danielle, who have been the most successful and stable relationship on the show this season.
Danielle confessed she "sucks" at showing physical affection and communicating, but she was working hard on her flaws and had come a long way in her marriage.

Dr. Pepper then advised the couple to find "spiritual enlightenment" through sex by participating in a tantric exercise. Danielle maintained an open mind about the activity, and Bobby didn't object.
Danielle then complimented Bobby on his dedication to their foster dogs, who were pooping and peeing all over their house. Bobby was constantly cleaning up the messes and didn't complain, but it was clear he was exhausted and maybe even overwhelmed.

Bobby called waking up in the middle of the night multiple times "a beat down." Dr. Pepper realized Bobby "did way more" in his marriage to Danielle, but she could see that he enjoyed being his wife's "knight in shining armor."
"I would do anything for Danielle. If that means clean up some poop, then I'll clean up some poop. If that's the worst thing I have to do all day, then my life is pretty good," Bobby explained.
Later that night, the three couples were advised by Dr. Pepper to swap their phones to build trust and eliminate any paranoia or suspicion.
Mia and Tristan, however, decided to forego the exercise because they trusted each other completely. Mia felt strange about the idea of "snooping," and Tristan had no interest to look through her phone either.
Danielle and Bobby chose to go through each other's phones, but neither individual discovered anything that raised a red flag. The couple agreed they had nothing to hide from each other.

As for Amber and Dave, they trusted each other enough to not look through each other's phones. Dave simply didn't have a desire to check up on Amber, and she in turn was confident she wouldn't find anything unusual on her husband's phone.
"You're the first person I trust completely," Amber told Dave, gushing about how this was a "rare" relationship for her.
Dave was surprised Amber had never been able to trust a man in any of her past relationships, and then she called him "a little judgey," saying he might have higher standards or expectations and it's "really hard" for her to reach them.
Dave was just concerned Amber had been drawn to the wrong type of guy in the past. It wasn't something he liked hearing. Dave pointed out her past doesn't affect them or their marriage, but he was clearly annoyed and questioning his wife's "decision making."
On Day 33 of marriage, Danielle and Bobby participated in tantric yoga. This was way out of Danielle and Bobby's comfort zone, and she was especially nervous, but they both gave it their best shot.

Afterward, all three couples participated in a cooking class since only the man in each relationship was comfortable in the kitchen. It was an opportunity for each married couple tow work as a team and also catch up with each other.

During the cooking class, Amber started to worry she wasn't good enough for Dave again. Dave couldn't believe she was having another "freak out moment," and he confessed, "I can't deal with this!"
However, Dave remembered to let things go, and so the couple moved past their issues quickly. Amber ended up calling it "a really great bonding experience."
The other two couples seemed to feel the same way, although Mia accidentally burned a towel on the stove.
While eating, Danielle and Bobby noticed they lacked issues the other two pairs were having in their marriages. Danielle actually feared she was throwing her happy life in their faces, but everyone got along well.
On Day 35 of marriage, Danielle and Bobby enjoyed a date night out away from their puppies. Bobby said he might need a break from fostering four dogs but he genuinely enjoyed sharing her passion.
Danielle volunteered to wake up in the middle of the night to clean the kennels next time, but Bobby wasn't so sure she'd wake up since she's a light sleeper.
Dave and Amber were then shown talking about when to welcome children. Amber was in a bit of a rush, saying her eggs were dying every day, but Bobby acknowledged the ship had sailed on them starting a family young.
Since Amber was 36-years-old, she wanted to start trying for a baby right away. She was upset about not being on the same page as Dave.
"I'm actually just looking forward to when they turn five because it's so much work," Amber said.
"Amber wants kids but then she immediately turns to, 'I can't wait for them to turn five.' I'm like, 'That's a big chunk of time you're missing.' Even if she's joking in all that, I don't find that super funny," Dave vented to the cameras.

"I'm really excited about holding my baby. Of course I'm not excited about changing diapers or sleepless nights, but when Amber doesn't describe those things, it is concerning to me. I don't like it."
Amber insisted she was joking and Dave shouldn't have read into those throw-away comments. Dave was also worried about how Amber would deal with stress and sleepless nights since she didn't handle those things well in the present time.
Amber felt Dave was, once again, judging her. Amber said she wasn't doing "that awful" of a job in life and it wasn't fair for Dave to judge her when he gets stressed out as well.
Dave realized he didn't want to be "overly critical" of Amber, but it should have been a positive topic for them to discuss.
That night, Tristan said he was growing as a husband, person, friend and businessman through being married. He was very optimistic about his future with Mia.
"I think the move to Houston is going to be stressful, but with Tristan by my side, I think it will be a smooth transition. At this point, I feel like Tristan and I have faced the craziest things, so if life threw us any curve ball, we would be able to turn it around," Mia explained.

The episode concluded with Bobby gushing about how he couldn't imagine a day without Danielle from that point forward. Bobby believed his marriage could be "lifelong and everlasting," and he told Danielle how he felt.
"I would do anything to make you happy, and I love you," Bobby told his wife, who then kissed him goodnight.
