The new Married at First Sight season is going to document the following couples: Camille and Thomas, Karla and Juan, Madison and Allen, David and Michelle, and Emem and Ikechi.

If at the end of the eight-week experiment a couple is unhappy, they can choose to split and part ways on "Decision Day."

The Married at First Sight broadcast began with Michelle and David tying the knot.

When David saw his bride walking down the aisle, he smiled big and said, "Hello beautiful!"

But before the wedding ceremony commenced, David sweetly introduced himself to Michelle's parents and thanked them for being supportive of their journey.

When the officiant began the ceremony, David learned Michelle is a sincere and genuine country girl at heart who is the perfect balance of tough and sensitive.

David seemed a bit nervous when he heard Michelle has "three babies," but Michelle assured her groom that they're animals.

Michelle then discovered that family means everything to David, and that he's a loyal "mama's boy" with a teddy-bear heart.

In her vows, Michelle promised to make David smile on a hard day, laugh at his jokes, push him to be his best self, and dream big with him.

David, in turn, vowed to be loyal, honest and respectful. He said he looked forward to building an empire with Michelle, and he added that he'd always cherish her mind and body.

The pair exchanged rings and kissed for the first time as husband and wife at the altar, and then David breathed "a sigh of relief" because he said he "hit the jackpot" with Michelle.

David was so happy, in fact, that he asked the producers if they were punking him by matching him with this blonde beauty.

David and Michelle had a moment to speak alone before starting their wedding reception, and David gushed to Michelle that she was his type "to a tee." He also seemed excited about her being an independent woman.

David revealed it was his birthday, and he noted how Michelle was the "best present" he ever could've gotten.

Everything was going well until David shared that he occassionally smoked cigarettes when out with friends. Michelle called that a "gross" habit, and so David immediately realized it was a big turnoff for his wife.

"I'm not losing that beauty over a 16-pack of cigarettes!" David told the cameras.

David proceeded to drop another bombshell on his wife that he lived with his parents but he didn't plan on staying there forever. David claimed he had been lonely living alone in a condo, but Michelle still appeared concerned and taken aback.

Meanwhile, Karla and Juan showed some chemistry while taking their wedding photos, and Karla said it felt "so right" with her husband. Karla shared how her parents were not present at the wedding, but Juan didn't seem to mind.

"I'm already in love. I'm excited," Karla told a bunch of her wedding guests.

Madison and Allen also started to connect while posing for their wedding photos.

"He's definitely not my typical type I've ever gone after, which is groomed up and a little bit more metro with an athletic body. But I can see why the experts matched us, for sure," Madison said in a confessional.

"He is super funny, lighthearted and he has a super gentle and kind way about him."

Allen, for his part, said he couldn't have dreamed up a better situation. He gushed about how he could envision himself creating a life with Madison and having children with her one day.

"Right now, I'm thinking, ‘Why did I not find you before? Where have you been? Why did I have to wait this long to find you?'" Allen shared with the cameras.

The Married at First Sight couples were then shown enjoying their wedding receptions by eating, dancing and sharing a little kiss every now and then.

Michelle admitted she felt "overwhelmed" about the fact David still lived with his parents, but she decided to "chill" and play it cool. She didn't want to let one negative thought ruin her entire wedding day.

Meanwhile, Camille said she felt "safe" with her new husband, and she could tell that Thomas was ready to be in a serious relationship.

But Thomas told Camille he had been in a nine-year relationship that never progressed to an engagement.

This was a bit of a red flag for Camille because she wondered what suddenly made Thomas feel ready to be married now. Camille was tired of dating guys who didn't want to commit and didn't know what they wanted.

Thomas also admitted to Camille's bridesmaids he had cheated on his long-term ex-girlfriend and was responsible for the demise of that romance. Around that same time, Camille learned from Thomas' twin brother that Thomas struggled to be vulnerable and let his walls down.

Juan was then shown telling Karla that he had developed an app and worked with a construction team, and Karla insisted that money doesn't matter to her because she's all about love and connection.

Karla, a self-declared "dreamer," hoped her new husband could support her and help her execute a business plan she had in mind.

But Juan's groomsmen seemed a little worried when Karla admitted she can be blunt and a little harsh at times.

Over at Emem and Ikechi's wedding, Ikechi, who had written a book of letters for his wife, shared how he cares more about a woman's energy than her looks.

Emem later learned that Ikechi had his heart broken before and he shut his heart down for a while.

Ikechi had been engaged once before but then didn't get in another serious relationship for about a decade. Because of his eyebrow-raising past, Emem's cousin grilled him about his intentions, goals and plans for being a good husband.

At Allen's wedding reception, Allen told Madison's bridesmaids that his ex of about four years was very jealous and didn't trust him. He apparently felt bad about himself in that relationship and never wanted to feel that way again.

Madison was a little concerned about Allen being such a giver and people pleaser because she didn't want that behavior to build resentment.

Meanwhile, David's parents told Michelle that David was ready to move out but he did things for them and had taken care of them up to that point. They also assured Michelle that David never smoked around them and he'd probably have an easy time quitting.

At the end of the night, Camille gushed about how she "really liked" her husband and how Thomas has amazing core values. She was wary, however, of his cheating past, even though five years had passed since the betrayal.

All of the brides seemed happy except for Michelle, who broke down into tears when a bridesmaid asked if she could see a future with David.

Michelle admitted she was "hesitant," and then she went to the bathroom with a bridesmaid and cried about how she was "fixated" on the fact David still lived with his parents.

"I'm having a f-cking breakdown," Michelle lamented behind closed doors while David gushed about how he and his bride were "meant to be."

The bridesmaid told Michelle that David clearly came from a family with strong bonds and that was a good thing, which made the bride feel a little better.

When heading to their hotel suite, Juan called his wedding day with Karla "bliss," and Karla said she could see Juan being her forever husband and forever best friend.

Emem, for her part, said she could see herself "definitely falling in love" with her husband.

Allen was then shown telling Madison that he was so into her and he felt "ecstatic" about their union. He called their immediate connection on their wedding night "unearthly."

Before going to bed, David told Michelle that he wanted to live in his parents' basement but didn't have to, and Juan played a "beautiful" song for Karla on the guitar.

Most of the couples appeared to spoon and snuggle while falling asleep on their wedding night.
