The new Married at First Sight season is going to document the following couples tying the knot: Camille and Thomas, Karla and Juan, Madison and Allen, David and Michelle, and Emem and Ikechi.
If at the end of the eight-week experiment a couple is unhappy, they can choose to split and part ways on "Decision Day."
The Married at First Sight broadcast began with the couples waking up in the morning after their wedding night and ordering breakfast. The restful morning allowed each couple time to get to know each other better.
Thomas admitted that the 10-year age gap with his wife, Camille, was a bit of a "concern" for him.
And Michelle realized she and David had very different schedules and would have to communicate via phone a lot, unless he'd be able to change his work schedule.
Michelle also brought up how David was still living with his parents in his thirties.
"I'm thinking, like, I don't know someone in their high thirties who is living with their parents. To me, that is not attractive. I hope that's not your plan for the rest of your life," Michelle told her husband.
David assured Michelle that living at home was not his long-term plan.
"No, that's definitely not the plan for the rest of my life. I could've moved out a long time ago... but I'm saving money by just waking up and using a bed. It's like a little dungeon down there," David explained to his new wife.
"It's cool and I'm happy. I've got a kitchen, a bathroom, and a laundry room. I've got two bedrooms. It's like I have my own apartment. They have their own entrance and I have my own."

David told Michelle that he never ran into his parents.
While David appreciated Michelle's honesty and transparency with him, he hoped she'd come around on this topic and let it go. David hoped Michelle would give him the benefit of the doubt.
Each spouse then met their new in-laws and family members for drinks and conversation.
Michelle admitted to David's family that she felt "overwhelmed," mainly because of David's living arrangement. David's loved ones feared that Michelle was ultimately going to break David's heart.
Michelle's family, meanwhile, advised David to take a step back and slow things down in order to allow Michelle to process things and not feel rushed.
Allen told Madison's family that he hadn't been sexually active in a while because he was with the same woman for four years. Allen therefore assured them that he didn't have an STD.
Allen also gushed about how he was ecstatic about his bride's beauty.
Madison's sister, however, admitted to Allen that he's "the complete opposite" of Madison's usual "pretty boy" type in men. Allen's personality had won Madison's family over, but he was worried his wife wasn't attracted to him.

When Emem spoke to Ikechi's relatives, she learned that Ikechi had many women interested in him but he was essentially searching for a "unicorn" of a woman, which explained why Ikechi was still single leading up to their engagement.
This news took Emem aback because she acknowledged that she's "not perfect" and Ikechi having such high standards or expectations could potentially lead to their demise.
For Karla's part, she revealed to Juan's family that she desired to be a stay-at-home mother one day. Juan, however, spoke to Karla's family about how he'd need Karla's income for a while and he liked the idea of being equal in their relationship.
But Camille and Thomas didn't seem to run into any red flags when learning about each other. In fact, they both discovered they have the same timeline to start a family in two years, which left Thomas' twin brother feeling overjoyed.
Following the family meet and greets, Ikechi explained to Emem how he just wanted to find a woman who balanced him. He said he had trouble finding a woman who "fit" well with him but it wasn't about perfection for him.
"But I am looking for someone who's dope! Why wouldn't you?!" Ikechi noted.
Michelle also opened up to David about how she had a meltdown and cried at their wedding. She asked David if he was "embarrassed" to live at home, and David confessed that it was "a little embarrassing" but he didn't want her to worry about it.
"I am worried about it," Michelle confirmed.
David revealed he had two incomes but he was just trying to save money in the expensive city of Chicago. David insisted that he was ready to leave the nest and would for her.
"I think that I'm hung up on that... I think it's a major thing," Michelle admitted.
"Like, that's the No. 1 thing I'm hung up on. You're saying all the right things and I like the small things... I want to start a life with you, and now it's on me, for how I deal with it."
When Allen and Madison reunited, Allen asked his wife if she felt an attraction to him.

Madison explained to Allen how a "pretty boy" is clean shaven, overly groomed, "metro" and muscular. But Madison assured Allen that the attraction was there, "for sure," and they just needed to dive deeper after a great start.
The couples then learned they'd be traveling to Cancun, Mexico for their honeymoon, and Camille packed sexy lingerie with her.
When all of the couples met each other for the first time, Michelle said she was shocked to see the other couples so "at ease" and flirty with each other. Emem and Ikechi, for example, were handsy and flirty with each other the entire time.
Thomas also suggested to the group that he felt love at first sight with Camille.
Michelle felt much further behind the other couples in her connection with David.
Madison also announced to the group how she was feeling "anxiety" and the process was "a lot" for her, which left Allen feeling surprised and concerned about his wife's mental state.
During the first night of their honeymoon, David slept on the couch to make his wife feel more comfortable.
David revealed to Michelle how he used to be a bodybuilder, but instead of asking him questions about his fitness history, she asked him, "Who would choose to live with their parents at 36-years-old? Are you motivated to get out of their place? Are you motivated to do things on your own?"
Michelle continued, "Your mommy doing all of your things for you? That's a turnoff for me. I want somebody who's independent... and I'm not getting that vibe from you."
David insisted that he cooked and cleaned and simply chose to live at home. He realized that Michelle wasn't exactly moving forward from that issue, and so their relationship wasn't progressing.
"I'm just a little thrown back," David told the cameras.

Madison explained to Allen how there was a shift in her feelings after the wedding but she still remained optimistic they could have a future together. Madison promised she'd remain open and vulnerable with him, and she added that she was trying.
