Married at First Sight's Season 11 premiere apparently won't be impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, unlike dozens of other reality TV shows.

During the "Decision Day" broadcast for Married at First Sight's tenth season on Wednesday night, Lifetime aired two commercials for Season 11 of the series, boasting the season will feature five new couples and be crazier than ever.

"The new season of the series that needs no introduction is coming soon," a voiceover said in the first promo, as footage flashed onscreen of new couples.

"The new season of Married at First Sight, coming soon, only on Lifetime."

And in the second longer promo, a voiceover announced, "Five new couples... in the craziest season... ever."

So what could qualify as "crazy?" One bride is seemingly shown riding a unicycle down the aisle, and an apparent groom can be heard revealing, "This is someone I've met before."

The latter situation sounds familiar to what happened in Season 8 of Married at First Sight, when Luke Cuccurullo immediately recognized Kate Sisk on their wedding day as someone he had previously met at a speed-dating event.

Pastor Calvin Roberson, one of the MAFS experts who matched Luke and Kate, admitted on a January 2019 episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered his "mind [was] still blown" over the coincidence.

"Had we known they had met, we would have disqualified them," Pastor Cal confirmed.

"We don't want anyone that knows each other. I mean, you're getting married at first sight! We don't want 'married at second sight,' but of course there's no way to tell that [Kate] had gone to a speed-dating event while she's engaged!"

Kate, however, insisted she wasn't engaged at the time of the event and hadn't been told about her casting yet.

Kate and Luke's relationship turned out to be a disaster because Luke did not find himself attracted to his wife.

Luke even said he felt "repulsed" when kissing Kate, which resulted in the pair never building an emotional or physical connection despite Kate's unwavering effort.

Lifetime announced in September 2019 it had renewed Married at First Sight for an eleventh season that will air in 2020 and consist of 17 supersized two-hour episodes.

Lifetime's Married at First Sight Season 11 promos did not specifically identify the season's filming city by name. However, Married at First Sight had begun casting for a season in New Orleans in August 2019 and the promos did show recognizable New Orleans locations.

According to the New Orleans season's casting application, potential cast members had to be available for interviews in late November, as well as late January and early February 2020.

Assuming Lifetime uses a similar schedule as it has over the last couple of years, Married at First Sight's eleventh season will premiere in late June or July (presumably after Married at First Sight: Couples' Cam, the new MAFS spinoff Lifetime will premiere on May 20, completes its six-episode run).

Last year, Married at First Sight's ninth season premiered on June 12, and Season 7 premiered on July 10 in 2018.

Last week, the @Mafsfan Instagram account reported Married at First Sight Season 11 had begun filming in New Orleans in February around Valentine's Day and the couples had traveled to Mexico for their honeymoons afterwards.

However, the Instagram account claimed an inside source informed them Married at First Sight's crew was pulled from production earlier this month -- which would have likely only been about a couple of weeks before Season 11's "Decision Day" was set to occur -- due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

According to the source, Married at First Sight couples were left to film the remainder of the season on their own using cameras installed in their apartments, similar to what Married at First Sight's Kinetic Content production company is doing with the franchise's new Married at First Sight: Couples' Cam spinoff.

Married at First Sight features experts matching up pairs of strangers based on their compatibility, goals, physical type, hobbies, religion, views of marriage and gender roles, and more.

In addition to Pastor Cal, last season's experts were sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz and psychotherapist Dr. Viviana Coles.

After meeting for the first time on their big day, each couple gets married and the next six to eight weeks of their lives are documented -- beginning with their wedding ceremony, reception and honeymoon, and continuing with the joys and struggles of daily life as they move in together and adjust to their new life as newlyweds.

Married at First Sight's tenth season airs its reunion show next week. "Decision Day" featured two couples choosing to get a divorce: Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid as well as Meka Jones and Michael Watson.

However, Katie Conrad and Derek Sherman as well as Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd opted to remain married.

The season's fifth couple, Zach Justice and Mindy Shiben, divorced nearly two weeks before "Decision Day" because Zach said he lacked chemistry with and an attraction to his wife.
