Married at First Sight's second season ended recently with two couples wanting to stay married, but that clearly didn't last long.

Jessica Castro and Ryan De Nino decided to stick it out together after some blowout arguments, as did their co-stars Jaclyn Methuen and Ryan Ranellone. Couple Davina Kullar and Sean Varricchio, on the other hand, split. Things appeared to end badly when Varricchio called Kullar "egocentric" and hurt her feelings by saying unflattering things to the experts without addressing such issues with her first.
But now, Castro and De Nino are worse off than everyone else.
Castro, 30, filed a protection order against De Nino, 29, shortly after the show's finale aired on A&E's FYI network. De Nino confirmed that Castro had filed the paperwork in the Queens, NY, family court system with an Instagram post on Saturday, June 13.
"This isn't something I'd wish on anyone," De Nino captioned a photo of Castro's filing, which the New York State Unified Court System uses to protect someone from harmful or threatening behavior by another person.
A protection order covers domestic violence among other offenses.
"[The order] had me in awe and when I read it, I was disgusted," De Nino, a business owner from Staten Island, continued. "Bash me all you want, say whatever it is about me just remember this board don't break for nada. Why I posted this will be thoroughly explained when the times right. #CheckMate."
Castro -- whose Instagram profile picture had been one of herself and De Nino up until Monday morning -- has not commented on her filing other than posting the following cryptic Instagram message: "There is no force more powerful than a woman determined to rise."
Castro and De Nino battled through six weeks of marriage on the show in which they had to work hard to understand one another and overcome their communication problems. De Nino disliked how Castro wouldn't speak her mind when bothered, while Castro didn't appreciate De Nino's short-fuse temper.
But the couple still had some great moments throughout their transition from the honeymoon phase to moving in together and living their daily lives as an item. They seemed fairly smitten with one another during Married at First Sight's Season 2 finale.
However, late last week, rumors began circulating on fan forums that De Nino left the show's reunion taping early because Castro had accused him of abusing drugs. According to People, a production source insisted the claims are "untrue" and the topic was never even brought up or discussed. De Nino also posted a photo of the magazine article on Instagram as a way to deny the speculation.
On a high note, former The Bachelor bachelorette Jamie Otis is still married to Doug Hehner, whom she married blindly on the series' first season. They've since celebrated one year of marriage.
