Married at First Sight's fourth season has come to an end, but did the remaining two marriages also end?

On Tuesday night's finale of Married at First Sight, Tom Wilson and his wife Lillian Vilchez and Nick Pedergrast and his wife Sonia Granados had to face "Decision Day" and determine whether they'd like to stay married or get a divorce after the extreme six-week experiment in which the couples met and spoke for the first time at the altar.

Both couples experienced some major challenges in the beginning of married life.

Nick had lost Sonia's trust by telling her that he wasn't attracted to her after having sex, which prompted her to move out. And Tom and Lillian didn't see eye-to-eye on the lifestyles they want to lead, as Tom hoped to live on a bus, which Lily was totally opposed to.

(As for the season's third couple, newlyweds Derek Schwartz and Heather Seidel, they divorced only two weeks into the process over the groom's alleged marijuana habit.)

Going into "Decision Day," Sonia feared Nick was going to ask for a divorce, and while he didn't reveal how he was feeling, he said he was "pretty confident" in his choice.

Nick and Sonia then sat down with Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Rachel DeAlto. Nick said his biggest takeaway from the experiment was learning how to be more empathetic and understanding. Sonia also became a better communicator.

"I think we've come a long way and we're in a good place and moving forward in the right direction," Nick told Sonia, adding that he's still learning more about his wife and how to be a good husband. "But I want to continue our marriage and I do want to stay married to you."

It was then Sonia's turn to explain her decision to her husband.

"We've had a lot of ups and downs, and I have moved back in, but I just -- there's just a lot of things that led me not to trust you," Sonia said, before taking a breath. "And I feel like, um, I would like to stay married to you."

Nick was thrilled to hear this news, telling the cameras, "She's come a long way. To be able to forgive me shows a lot about her and shows that she's willing to work on this relationship."

Tom and Lillian were up next, as they also had to reveal their final decisions in front of Rachel and Pastor Calvin. The pair had to overcome communication issues as well as problems in their past that came back to haunt their relationship.

"I care for you so much. I want to look at the positives in our marriage and the good we've been through, and I would like for us to give ourselves the opportunity to grow in love," Lillian said with tears in her eyes. "But I have decided that I would like to stay married to you."

It was then Tom's turn to address his wife. He had to determine whether he could give up his bus for the success of his marriage.

"Lily, I've thought all night and all morning and still couldn't make up my mind about exactly what would be good for you and I, and my biggest concern is that if I'm not happy, then I can't make you happy, and I've always put happiness on a pedestal. And I'm focusing on how happy I am now versus how happy I was before our marriage began," Tom began.

"I feel like the hardest thing about this is that you are such a great person. I have decided that I want to stay married."

Several days later, the two couples met up for a brunch and seemed very happy.

Married at First Sight's fourth-season reunion special is set to air next Tuesday night at 8:30PM ET/PT on FYI.
