Married at First Sight star AJ Vollmoeller can't help but gush about his wife, Stephanie Sersen, whom he exchanged vows with on Season 8 of the Lifetime reality series.

"There's nothing that aggravates me about her. There's nothing that is a real dealbreaker or anything that I see becoming an issue. She has no bad habits or any of my pet peeves or anything," AJ said during a Tuesday night appearance on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered.

AJ trusted Married at First Sight's experts and wed Stephanie without ever laying eyes on her or even knowing her first name.

However, the pair connected instantly, had mutual attraction, and quickly found out their big personalities meshed brilliantly together. Not only do they both love adventure and travel, but they also have the same goals and values in life.

For their one-month anniversary, Stephanie surprised AJ with a collage photo frame featuring images of the happy couple together, and AJ appeared taken aback by the thoughtful gift. 

"I was [a little choked up]. I haven't shed tears. That's not me," AJ began.

"You look like you're going to cry now watching this back!" Jamie exclaimed on Unfiltered.

"It hits me a little bit. It's emotional to me," AJ sweetly admitted.

"I like it. I'm so happy things are working out like this, that somebody is putting in the effort for me. I've always been the one putting in the effort, and to be on the receiving end of it, it's emotional."

AJ acknowledged he was blown away by Stephanie's meaningful gesture.

"I was expecting something you buy off the shelf," AJ noted of Stephanie's present.

While the relationship hasn't been totally perfect in light of AJ's short temper, AJ said he doesn't foresee having any problems with Stephanie in the future "short of being completely, blatantly disrespectful to each other."

So what are AJ's hopes for the future with his Married at First Sight wife?

"I feel like the way my marriage has been tracking already is great. I hope it just continues to track the exact same way, with no major hurdles and no major adjustments," AJ told Jamie on Unfiltered.

"That's the ultimate goal and that's how I hope it goes forever down the line."

Married at First Sight's eighth season also stars Jasmine McGriff and Will Guess, Kristine Killingsworth and Keith Dewar, and Luke Cuccurullo and Kate Sisk.
