Married at First Sight star Amber Bowles now believes she let her standards go by repeatedly allowing Matthew Gwynne to stay out all night and not come home.

During an appearance on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered last Wednesday, Amber discussed dealbreakers in marriage with the show's host Jamie Otis and her Season 9 co-stars Elizabeth Bice and Gregory Okotie.

"Not coming home, I thought, would be my dealbreaker, and I feel like I really let my standards go on that one," Amber admitted. "It wasn't fair to me."

"Good for you for recognizing it," Unfiltered host But Jamie Otis replied.

As Married at First Sight viewers probably recall, Matt once disappeared for 24 hours without texting or calling Amber to inform her of his whereabouts or whom he was spending time with.

Not only that, but Matt stayed out all night without his wedding ring, which Amber had found in his nightstand next to their bed.

Matt later found out his behavior had crushed Amber considering she was already struggling with abandonment issues -- stemming from the fact her mother had left when Amber was young -- and so he insisted he would never stay out all night again.

However, Matt subsequently didn't return home after allegedly going out with his friends at least two more times during the brief eight-week experiment.

The night before "Decision Day," Amber learned from her best friend Raven that he had spotted Matt leaving a bar one night with another woman.

Amber had also heard from a fellow teacher at her school that Matt had asked another woman out on a date via text.

Elizabeth admitted had a similar situation played out during her marriage, she would have broken things off immediately.

"If he cheated on me it would be a dealbreaker, 100 percent," Elizabeth said on Unfiltered. "If anything like that happened, at point blank I would have just quit. Yeah."

Also during the Unfiltered broadcast, Amber, Elizabeth and Greg watched back a Season 9 clip in which Greg's wife Deonna McNeill revealed to her friends she was having sex with her husband.

"Deonna is not super open about her feelings, so how does it feel to hear her talking about her sex life with you to her friends?" Jamie asked.

"Awkward!" Greg replied with a laugh.

"Is it awkward for you?" Jamie questioned, seemingly surprised by Greg's answer.

"I mean, a little bit, but also, pretty amazing in the same breath to hear she is sharing her feelings and sharing our sex life," Greg explained.

Jamie then pointed out, "She said it wasn't bad, so!"

"I mean, you know -- you know!" Greg said proudly before laughing.

Amber and Matt ended up both agreeing to get a divorce on Married at First Sight's "Decision Day" episode, which aired immediately after Unfiltered on Wednesday night.

Like Amber and Matt, Keith Manley and Iris Caldwell also divorced on -- but Keith was the only person in the relationship who wanted to call it quits.

Greg and Deonna, however, opted to stay married, as did Elizabeth and her husband Jamie Thompson.

The Season 9 reunion special for Married at First Sight will air on Wednesday, September 18 on Lifetime and feature updates on the current status of each relationship.
