Married at First Sight star Chris Collette has claimed Alyssa Ellman wouldn't even give him her phone number the day after they got married.

Alyssa, 30, appeared to join Married at First Sight's fourteenth-season cast in the hope of being matched with her dream guy to some extent, and she determined only hours after her wedding ceremony that her groom, Chris, 35, wasn't her type and they weren't a good match for an alleged number of reasons.

Alyssa slept in a different hotel room from her husband on their wedding night, but she decided to still embark on the honeymoon phase of the experiment, seemingly with the intention of spending time with her new MAFS girlfriends while maintaining her distance from Chris.

During a February 9 appearance on Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Chris dropped a bombshell on the talk show's host Keshia Knight Pulliam.

Before traveling to San Juan, Puerto Rico for their honeymoon, the cast had to visit City Hall to legally complete their marriages.

"So when we went to City Hall to sign the marriage paperwork, we were waiting in the hallway and I said to Alyssa, 'We're going to be going on the honeymoon. I don't have your phone number. Do you want me to give you my phone number?'" Chris recalled.

"And she said to me, 'No, I know where to find it if I need it.'"

Keshia appeared shocked and muttered, "I'm sorry."

And Chris continued, "And then we were sitting there with the officiant to sign the paperwork, and the officiant said, 'Would you guys like to get married?' He's thinking it's a celebration, like I both get to watch them say, 'I do,' again."

Chris replied "yes" to the officiant and claimed Alyssa just "sat in silence" and "said nothing."

"She already signed the paperwork," Chris noted. "So he then signed it, which made it official, but he wanted to hear the 'I do' and she wouldn't say it."

Chris also accused Alyssa of "talking to her lawyers" shortly after their wedding, and he reiterated, "She didn't want to give me her phone number."

"Keep in mind we've spent a total of 45 minutes to an hour together," Chris noted, referring to the first 24 hours after getting married.

Chris shared on Afterparty how he and Alyssa never really had a conversation on or off-camera. He said Alyssa was nice when they'd have short exchanges -- but only allegedly because they had little to do with their relationship or its trajectory.

Alyssa also appeared to only open up to her girlfriends on the show. She seemed forced into doing activities such as tennis and paddleboarding with Chris and only came across happy and perky during group cast outings.

During one group dinner in San Juan specifically, Chris opened up about how he'd like to have a child, and several of the girls agreed he'll make a wonderful father someday.

"The difference between the activities that we might do with each other, where we both tread very lightly, and activities with everybody else, where we know the conversation that is coming next -- such as how is your relationship... This is a conversation about children," Chris acknowledged on Afterparty.

"And y'all haven't even talked about..." Keshia began.

"Liking each other," Chris' MAFS14 co-star Lindsey Georgoulis interjected with a laugh.

"I don't have her phone number!" Chris repeated.

Keshia suggested it was astonishing Alyssa wouldn't even give Chris her digits at that point.

"So, look, full disclosure: most of the time when these conversations come up, I'm just waiting for us to talk about something that I can contribute to," Chris explained.

"And I'm sort of watching the other four couples bloom in some way, where they're talking about beautiful things that are exciting. And I'm excited for them because they've all become such good friends of mine at this point."

He added, "And I'm just sort of going, 'Alright! When can we get to the thing where I don't have to talk about the kids that I want?'"

Alyssa quickly came to the conclusion that Chris was "immature," and she had heard from his groomsmen how Chris is an opinionated man who can be a bit argumentative and "condescending," which essentially sent Alyssa into a tailspin of tears.

Alyssa told Chris that they're "not compatible" and have totally different hobbies and lifestyles.

Married at First Sight star Katina Goode accused Alyssa of shutting down in her marriage simply because she wasn't physically attracted to Chris, but Chris said on Afterparty that Alyssa had never told him that -- not even to this day.

When Chris asked Alyssa if she'd consider moving in with him once they returned to Boston, she confessed how she wouldn't feel comfortable with that and her ideal scenario would be to share the apartment, but separately.

Alyssa envisioned Chris living in the apartment for two weeks and then passing it along to her for two weeks so she could still be a part of the experiment and spend time with her girls.

Alyssa even vented during the latest Married at First Sight Season 14 episode, "I do not want to talk to him! I hate him! He is a f-cking assh-le! He is disrespectful and rude, and he's doing me dirty!"

Alyssa was furious Chris had questioned her intentions for going on the show, and she complained, "I'm a good person and if I don't come off that way on this show, I'm going to be f-cking pissed!"

Chris, not willing to totally give up on his marriage after less than one week, told Alyssa that if she was "all out," then he would be as well, but if she was even "one percent in," he'd be "all in" for her going forward.

Alyssa, however, refused to give Chris a straight answer, knowing she didn't want her experience and time on Married at First Sight to end.
