Married at First Sight star Chris Williams' reconciliation with his ex-fiancee Mercedes Myrick apparently worked out and lasted, as the pair was recently spotted vacationing in Mexico together.

During the Married at First Sight episode (which was filmed last year), Chris confessed to Paige that he was still in love with Mercedes and may want to get back together with her.
While Chris and Paige's story is still playing out on the Lifetime reality series, it appears Chris did in fact dump Paige and reconcile his relationship with Mercedes.
Several photos and videos of Chris and Mercedes vacationing together in Cancun circulated online on social media late last month.
The @Mafsfan Instagram account also apparently received messages and screenshots documenting Chris and Mercedes's Cancun trip.
"I am aware that Chris is currently in Cancun, Mexico, allegedly with his ex-fiancee, Mercedes," @Mafsfan wrote on February 20.
"As you'll see the story unfold both on the show and in their social media posts, it is messy, complicated and heartbreaking... If you look hard enough on social media, you will find out the truth too."
Chris also made it clear he was in Mexico on February 20 by posting a photo of his own on Facebook.
Chris shared an image of himself swimming with a dolphin in Cancun and wrote, "Just trying to chill with my new buddy!"
Although Chris did not post any photos with Mercedes, news had already broken by that point that he was on a romantic vacation with her.

Chris therefore complained about how people were gossiping about his love life.
"Can't even go on vacation without the blogs writing about it smh!" Chris wrote on Facebook. "Why is it a big deal that I am in Mexico after we have finished with everything? I'm lost!"
Chris has received backlash from viewers ever since Married at First Sight's twelfth season premiered for how he treated Paige, who clearly felt devalued and disrespected in her marriage. For instance, Chris expressed how he wasn't attracted to his wife but went on to have sex with her twice in 24 hours.
Dr. Pepper Schwartz even recently admitted she's been offended by Chris' behavior and casting him was a "bad call" and there are "no excuses" for it.
"Don't tell me how to feel or act about people sending death threats, calling my businesses, antagonizing me, my family and loved ones if you have never been through this," Chris wrote to trolls on Facebook.
"You can have whatever opinion you want but the moment [you] cross the line, I will address it! I fear no one, but God."
A few days before Chris' February 20 postings, Mercedes had thanked everyone for their recent birthday well-wishes in a Facebook posting of her own, prompting Married at First Sight fans to speculate she and Chris may have been in Cancun celebrating her birthday.
"This last year has been full of ups and downs, fear and tremendous losses, but a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor. God said the weapon would form but also that it wouldn't prosper. I'm still standing," Mercedes captioned a sexy photo of herself on February 17.

Mercedes did not appear pregnant in the vacation photos and videos posted online and was also allegedly seen drinking alcohol in Cancun.
Given Married at First Sight's twelfth edition began filming in August 2020 when Mercedes was said to only be about six weeks pregnant, not enough time appears to have elapsed for Mercedes to have carried a pregnancy to full term before the Cancun vacation.
According to online postings, Chris allegedly told inquiring vacationers Mercedes had tragically suffered a miscarriage, however some Married at First Sight followers have voiced skepticism and suggested Chris and Mercedes may have faked the pregnancy to get Chris out of his unhappy marriage to Paige.
Chris told Paige during their Las Vegas honeymoon it had been six weeks since he last interacted with his ex, whom he had been engaged to just three months before marrying a stranger in Summer 2020 on the show.
Chris -- who repeatedly called Mercedes' pregnancy "devastating" and "disturbing" news when he initially revealed it to Paige and his fellow Married at First Sight co-stars -- claimed he and Mercedes had split in May 2020, but he told his buddy and fellow MAFS star Vincent Morales, "That wasn't the last time we had sex, for sure."
Chris said Mercedes had known about the pregnancy "for a few weeks" but didn't tell him right away.
"You think she's being honest with you?" Vincent asked.
"I don't know if she's being honest," Chris replied. "I'm almost 100% confident that it's mine."
During a nice dinner out in Vegas with Paige, Chris revealed that he had been intimate with his ex-fiancee when they reunited for her father's funeral arrangements -- even though they were broken up and not on good terms at the time.

During the latest episode of Married at First Sight, Chris told Paige, who was determined to make her marriage work despite the odds, that he wanted to end their marriage.

"I feel disgusted for having any type of intimacy with this man. F-ck that! No! I am done, period! I'm done. This is bullsh-t!" Paige shouted.
"All that m-therf-cker dramatic-ass sh-t he done dragged me through? F-ck you! F-ck that b-tch!"
During a subsequent chat between Paige and Pastor Calvin Roberson, Pastor Cal noted Chris must have had sex with his ex during the MAFS casting process for the timeline to add up, and Paige replied, "Exactly! When we were knee-deep in this process. So I am thoroughly confused."
Paige also revealed she and Chris continued to have sex during their time together on the show.
Chris explained the idea of another man raising his child was "tough" and this experiment made him realize that he was still in love with his ex.
"So I think it's best to separate and to divorce," Chris shared.
Pastor Cal reminded Chris that he had broken up with his ex "for a reason," but Chris argued that his ex-fiancee was "an amazing woman."
After a tense conversation, Chris whispered something in Paige's ear that made her smile.
"Chris is whispering in my ear that his fear is falling in love with me," Paige told the cameras.
Paige left the therapy session feeling totally confused and emotional, and she asked herself, "Are we really, really done?"
