Married at First Sight star Chris Williams has lashed out at Erik Lake and Virginia Coombs, claiming the Season 12 couple lied about their recent breakup and that Erik received a DUI trying to keep up with Virginia's "drinking habits."

Chris had called party-girl Virginia "a drunkard" and accused the newlyweds of butting into his business regarding his then-pregnant ex-fiancee Mercedes Myrick, while Erik and Virginia had slammed Chris for being disrespectful and treating his then-wife Paige Banks poorly.
Erik and Virginia stayed together on "Decision Day" and now star on Season 3 of Married at First Sight: Couples Cam, but Soap Dirt has obtained court documents revealing the pair had separated on April 29, 2021 and just filed for divorce on June 29.
However, based on their recent social-media activity, Virginia and Erik have led fans to believe they're still together -- and the situation has apparently worked Chris into a tizzy.
On his Instagram Stories, Chris posted a screenshot on Tuesday of an alleged court document and wrote on the image, "This says April 29th 2021 they have been separated but they lied when @Mafsfan said they were separated!"
The @Mafsfan Instagram account reported on June 22 that Erik and Virginia had split and were divorcing, but Virginia posted a photo of herself embracing Erik on the beach via Instagram Stories on June 29.
"Social media can be very toxic. And for that reason, [Erik] and I decided a few weeks back to take our relationship off social media," Virginia wrote alongside the photo.
"We did a very public experiment and appreciate all the support but are currently enjoying some privacy. Please be respectful of that and remember to always be kind."

Chris uploaded a screenshot of Virginia's posting and wrote, "This is [a] double standard... This was posted 8 hours ago! Instead of saying we are getting a divorce, you put a picture up of you and Erik giving the illusion as if y'all still together."
"Then you have the MF'n nerve to ask for privacy??? After I asked several times on and off camera!!! Then you make it seem as if y'all are still together!! Oh you can't make this sh-t up!"

Chris suggested Married at First Sight fans have not held Virginia and Erik accountable for their alleged facade when he and Paige had been subjected to hate and criticism for months regarding their on-again, off-again tumultuous relationship on the show.
"A white couple is lying and there is proof and y'all still won't treat them as y'all treated Paige and I and other Black couples. Double standards!!!" Chris lamented.
"[Virginia] clearly just lied!!!! They've been lying for weeks!!!! She doesn't want to stop being a party girl. That's fine but don't insult our intelligence!"
Although the divorce documents state Virginia and Erik had separated on April 29, Virginia denied breakup speculation in May, telling a fan in the comments section of one of her Instagram photos, "I am not single!"
The photo showed Virginia debuting her new black hair color, and Erik fed into the couple's alleged storyline by writing on the post, "Beautiful as always... I have a thing for dark haired women," along with a fire emoji.
Speculation Virginia and Erik had broken up swirled because Virginia was accused of flirting with another guy at a bar and partying with girlfriends in Atlanta without her wedding ring.

But Virginia insisted on Instagram Stories in May that her wedding ring "never comes off" and photos had captured her right hand -- not her left, which features her wedding ring.

In addition to claiming Virginia and Erik have been fooling MAFS fans by putting on a united front, he alleged that Virginia had been a bad influence on the commercial pilot during their marriage.
"Erik was trying so hard to keep up with Virginia's drinking habits that he got a DUI and had a court mandated rehab for 45 days!" Chris claimed on Instagram Stories.
"While he was in rehab, Virginia was in Mexico trying to have a threesome with [co-star Haley Harris]'s brother and spouse! Ask 'em if it's true LOL!... Who you think told me about the failed threesome attempt in Mexico?"
Chris joked about Erik's alleged DUI and wrote, "You can't some after me and you a pilot and getting DUI's. I will never fly on your plane! That sh-t is scary as heck! Look up the records. Y'all know IDC LOL!"
Chris wrote to his followers, "The thing about me is I don't make sh-t up!"

He further explained, "Y'all enemies hit me up because they hated a lot of y'all so much! A lot of former cast members from previous seasons dogged me on [Instagram]. While they were doing that, I was creating a hitlist and collecting information that could some of y'all in jail LOL. Especially the people that took PPP loans and used it for houses."
Chris insisted he knows even more information about his fellow Married at First Sight cast members that he hasn't shared yet.
"The only way I will drop receipts is if any of the people I named says I am a liar! Then I am going to release a bunch of sh-t. So until then I'm chilling!" he noted.
On the Married at First Sight twelfth-season reunion special, Virginia revealed she had moved into Erik's apartment and they were happy together, despite normal marital arguments here or there.
Chris and Paige broke up before "Decision Day" but attempted to reconcile once the show wrapped filming. The pair explained on the reunion special they had ended things for good.
