Married at First Sight star Domynique Kloss has admitted she didn't get to know Mackinley Gilbert on a deep level after they began fighting during their honeymoon.

Domynique thought Mackinley was great on their wedding day, but she began noticing things she didn't like about her husband during their honeymoon in Jamaica.
Domynique thought Mackinley had a negative outlook on trying new activities as well as the tendency to complain, and Mackinley, in turn, felt constantly criticized and judged.
During the February 22 episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Domynique watched back a Season 16 clip of Mackinley checking out his new wife's former Nashville apartment for the first time.
"I'm sure her apartment's great. It's not a basement; I'm the loser here living with family and friends, so that's my story so far," Mackinley tells the cameras with sarcasm and attitude in the clip.
Once they're inside, Mackinley calls Domynique's place "very nice," but he expresses little interest in receiving a tour or getting to know Domynique based on how she was living prior to signing up for Married at First Sight.
"I don't need to browse. You didn't browse my place," Mackinley says.
Domynique acknowledged Mackinley could've had "a better living situation" on Afterparty, which prompted the show's host Keshia Knight Pulliam to ask if Domynique thought she was being "a little critical" of her husband.
"You have known him for, what -- a week?" Keshia asked. "So have you given him the opportunity to also show you who he is today?"
"I mean, honestly, probably not to the full extent," Domynique confessed. "But from what I have seen, it's not going very good."

Domynique went on to explain of Mackinley, "He doesn't really have any assets here. All of his clothes are still packed in storage boxes. It makes me feel nervous because at any point, Mack could take his property and put it in the back of his car and drive off into the sunset -- and I'll never see him again."
Domynique's Married at First Sight co-stars Kirsten Grimes and Clint Webb also appeared on the talk show, and they offered their thoughts on Domynique and Mackinley's dynamic.
"Well, Dom, I'm going to be totally honest," Kirsten began. "I feel like you're analyzing everything about him vs. giving him a chance and actually getting to know him."
Like Kirsten, MAFS star Jasmine Secrest said during last week's Afterparty broadcast that Domynique was being "judgy" of Mackinley when she toured the basement he was living in temporarily because he was in a transitional phase of his life.
Jasmine thought Domynique just needed "more words of affirmation" from Mackinley because it was "a lot" to deal with at the time.
For Clint's part, he told Keshia on last week's Afterparty episode that he could understand "both perspectives," adding, "I think it's just coming to an understanding of, 'Does he have the future goals that really melt with [Domynique's].'"
Keshia therefore asked Domynique if she'd be able to look past the things that were bothering her or rubbing her the wrong way to find out if the spouses' goals are in alignment.
"I get that. You're right," Domynique conceded.

Domynique also revealed why exactly she didn't want to move into the show's new neutral apartment with Mackinley, as well as what happened off-camera that made her tell Pastor Cal that she felt "over it" with Mackinley in her marriage.
On Married at First Sight's latest episode, Domynique asked her husband if he could see himself moving into her apartment after the show, and he replied, "I don't know. We'll see."
The couple then argued about how much freedom Mackinley's dogs could have in their shared apartment, and Domynique appeared to suggest Mackinley didn't care that much about his dogs if he hadn't even moved them to Nashville yet.
"Yeah, you're right. I guess I don't like my dogs and I don't care if they're here," Mackinley snapped at his wife, before explaining how he wanted to get settled with an apartment or house before involving his "kids."
While moving into their new apartment, Mackinley complained about how he had made compromises for Domynique, with her allegedly doing nothing in return.
During their chat with Pastor Cal, Domynique actually said that the expert had "some explaining to do." Pastor Cal, however, thought Mackinley and Domynique had to do the explaining since he considered their problems and quarrels to be small and petty.
Domynique told Pastor Cal that Mackinley wasn't outgoing, adventurous or optimistic, and Mackinley vented about how Domynique was too adventurous for him and didn't treat dogs the same way.
Mackinley also griped about how he felt "judged" by Domynique's reaction to his basement living, and she confirmed it was "a turnoff" to her.
"I wanted marriage, but I didn't think I was going to get someone that's the polar opposite of me," Domynique griped. "I expected more."
When Pastor Cal asked Domynique what she wanted to do, Domynique replied, "I don't know. Honestly, I'm just kind of over it."
"What does that mean? 'I'm over this conversation or I'm over the marriage?'" Pastor Cal asked.
The episode then ended in a cliffhanger, but Married at First Sight previews suggest there is a lot more drama to come for this couple.
