Married at First Sight star Elizabeth Bice had her first fight with husband Jamie Thompson during their honeymoon in Antigua, and while they exchanged fast apologies, she wishes he had tried harder to find her before lunch that day.

During a recent Season 9 episode of Married at First Sight, Elizabeth went back to her hotel room after a day at the beach with her co-stars in order to shower and get ready for lunch. Once she was ready, she waited for Jamie.
Elizabeth, however, didn't tell Jamie where she was going, and so when he realized she was gone, he went to lunch by himself instead of looking around for her first. Once they reunited in their hotel room after lunch, Elizabeth was furious.
"He really did leave me in the hotel for two hours. I got done first with everything that was [happening] on the beach, so I went to shower and he never came back to the hotel or anything," Elizabeth explained on Unfiltered.
"So I finally went and got some food, and by the time I got back, he was there. It was just bad, like, he didn't look for me or try to understand where I was. Grrr, it makes me so angry!"
But Elizabeth admitted there was "no understanding" she and Jamie were supposed to meet back in the hotel room before lunch.
"There was no understanding... we were supposed to meet anywhere. But you're running around looking for your husband, not knowing where he is and he's not doing the same thing. And you guys just met; you're supposed to be this team," Elizabeth reasoned. "Yeah, it's a little annoying."

Married at First Sight expert, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, then weighed in on the situation.
"The good news about Elizabeth is that you know where she stands," Dr. Pepper said with a laugh.
"But the bad news is a misunderstanding escalated into a full out challenge. Because what she really is, is hurt and disappointed that she didn't have lunch with her husband and that she had it alone and she was sad about that."

Elizabeth replied, "Absolutely, it was miscommunication and I should've communicated better about why I was upset. But he really should have tried harder to look for me!"
When asked whether she could have done anything differently to de-escalate her first argument with Jamie, Elizabeth responded, "My outfit could have been better."
After Elizabeth let out a laugh, her Married at First Sight co-star Amber Bowles spoke her two cents on the subject.
Had she been in Elizabeth's shoes that day, Amber confessed on Unfiltered, "I would've been hurt knowing that Jamie was off just doing whatever he wanted without consulting me or without wondering about my plans."
"It's kind of a respect thing," Amber added. "It sent the wrong message."
But Elizabeth and Jamie apologized to each other in no time and were seemingly able to move on from their first fight quickly.
"I think I'm still a little uneasy at this moment, but I want to continue on the trip and I don't want it to be totally ruined. So, it's just one small tiny moment," Elizabeth recalled.
"I got a little heated. It just is what it is, and you have to pick and choose your battles. I had a moment I think in my head where I'm like, 'Okay, I could continue this argument or just move on, it's just a lunch.' So I just moved on!"
