Married at First Sight star Haley Harris says things happened during her Las Vegas honeymoon that shouldn't have happened with her husband Jacob Harder.

However, Haley seemed to immediately regret the intimate encounter, and as she got to know Jacob better, she pushed him away and began guarding herself from getting close to him.
Haley attempted to develop a connection with Jacob in subsequent weeks through conversation and activities, but Haley noted Jacob didn't seem interested in her life -- and Jacob felt it was hard to progress their relationship when Haley refused to even hug him or give him a goodnight kiss.
On the April 14 episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, host Jamie Otis asked, "Haley, it's clear you and Jake are far from intimacy, but was there ever a time when you talked about getting intimate with one another?"
"Things happened in Vegas that shouldn't have happened," Haley confirmed.
"We had some conversations about that, but it was very brief. We had a love language conversation where he told me that his love language is physical touch; he never asked me what mine was."
Haley added, "He never cared to know what mine was until I had to bring it up weeks later and be like, 'Hey, guess what?! That's not mine. Sorry, but that's not it!'"
Jamie -- who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight -- admitted she was "shocked" to hear that news, and then Haley joked, "Plot twist!"
Given Haley said she wasn't attracted to Jacob's looks or personality, she attempted to create a spark by asking her husband to ditch his 80s home decor and clothing style.
Haley went out of her way to buy Jacob a new wardrobe and bond through activities such as mini-golf, but Haley repeatedly cried about feeling no connection with Jacob at all, even after their one-month wedding anniversary.

Haley claimed on Unfiltered that Jacob never initiated conversation with her.
"If I come into the room and I'm not in a great mood and I'm not, like, 'Hey, what's up? How are you?! What's going on?' he will ignore me. He waits for me to initiate everything, but I don't feel that effort on my end," Haley said.
She added, "I don't think he's taken the time to get to know what I need or what my feelings are in that. He just keeps pushing what he needs and what his feelings are."
But Married at First Sight expert Dr. Viviana Coles acknowledged on the April 7 broadcast of Unfiltered it was probably difficult for Jacob to break through Haley's walls.
"He's in a really tough spot because if he tries too hard, that's unattractive to [Haley]. If he doesn't try enough, then she doesn't really have the motivation to move towards him," Viviana explained.
Jacob has said on the show he didn't feel like he could woo Haley because she simply didn't want his affection and so he allowed her to take the reins on what type of interactions they'd have.
On the latest Married at First Sight episode, however, Jacob and Haley's marriage appeared to hit rock bottom when they fought about an $800 infinity bracelet Jacob had purchased for his wife for their wedding day that Haley hadn't worn one time.
Jacob admitted he felt "disrespected" by Haley's treatment of the bracelet, and Married at First Sight expert Dr. Pepper Schwartz told the cameras Haley needed to accept responsibility for her role in the problem or else her marriage probably wouldn't work out.
