Married at First Sight star Iris Caldwell apparently feels robbed of a big moment given Keith Manley's mother was actually the person to inform Keith that Iris was a virgin.

But instead of waiting for Iris to tell Keith about her virginity in her own way, Keith's mother took it upon herself to pull Keith aside and warn him that his wife was celibate.
"When you watched that episode, was that the first time that you realized Keith's mom told Keith about your virginity before you did?" Jamie Otis asked Keith on the latest broadcast of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered.
"Hmm, I had no idea until I [saw] that. I think that was definitely something that I wanted to be able to tell him because it's about me," Iris replied.
Iris did tell Keith about her virginity later that night, but Keith acted surprised, as if he had been hearing the news for the first time.
Jamie therefore asked Iris if she wished Keith had just been honest in that moment about the fact his mother had already spilled the beans about Iris' virginity.
"I would have liked for him to say that so it would take the anxiety off of me to say that information," Iris shared on Unfiltered.
But Married at First Sight expert, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, gently criticized Iris for revealing her virginity to her new mother-in-law to begin with, suggesting it was a bit strange.

"Yeah, I mean, she definitely noticed the dress and all. After I told Keith on our wedding night, he's going to tell her anyway. But I just didn't know she was going to tell him that," Iris explained.
"And then seeing [Keith]'s initial reaction [on television], you know, I had no idea that was his initial reaction because it was what he had with his mother. It was a moment they had, not a moment that we could have."

Iris also admitted it was difficult to share with her new husband that she was a virgin, and so had she known about Keith's mother disclosing the secret, it would have saved Iris some aggravation.
"It was very [nerve-wracking] because I didn't know how to go into [the conversation with Keith]. I didn't know what to say before, I didn't know how to lead up to it," Iris explained.
"I was just thinking, since walking down that aisle, 'What am I going to say to my husband, telling him about my virginity?' So, it's been something that was lingering on me for a long time and I felt like that was the perfect time to say it, before we get to the rest of our marriage."
Keith ended up being very supportive of Iris' background, telling his new wife and the cameras that he planned to be patient and understanding.
Keith was joined on the Married at First Sight: Unfiltered broadcast by his Season 9 co-star, Jamie Thompson.

When Jamie was asked how he'd feel if his wife Elizabeth Bice had told him on their wedding night she was a virgin, Jamie replied, "I would be a little taken aback."
"It would be hard to react to," he continued. "I wouldn't even know what to do other than just have patience and take some time to get to know the person and understand why they were saving themselves and what they were looking for."
