Married at First Sight star Jacob Harder has slammed Chris Williams, calling him "a dumbass" after learning Paige Banks' husband had bought his ex-fiancee, Mercedes Myrick, a brand new luxury vehicle.

Married at First Sight viewers recently watched Chris tell Paige that he had purchased a brand new Mercedes Benz for his pregnant ex-fiancee -- who had totaled her original car in an accident -- so she wouldn't have to use public transportation to get around once their child is born.

While Paige felt Chris was doing the bare minimum in their marriage, Chris was clearly spoiling Mercedes and never even talked to Paige first before making such a huge financial decision.

On Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Jacob, MAFS star Erik Lake, and MAFS expert Dr. Viviana Coles watched back a Season 12 clip of Chris revealing the car news to Paige.

"I get the transportation aspect, but a brand new car?!" Paige asks Chris in the clip.

"Why shouldn't it be brand new?" Chris replies. "I'm bringing a king or queen into the world and so they need to ride in a chariot."

Unfiltered host Jamie Otis -- who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight -- asked Jacob for his thoughts on Chris buying Mercedes a brand new luxury car.

"[He is] a dumbass," Jacob admitted, as both Erik and Viviana cracked up with laughter next to him.

"First of all, you got her a Benz, dude?! Come on! You're married, like, give her a [Chevy] Cobalt if you're going to get her a new car," Jacob complained.

"A Ford Taurus!" Erik suggested in agreeance.

"You're giving her a Benz?!" Jacob said in shock. "You're telling your wife right now that you don't give two sh-ts about her and you're going to get with this chick [Mercedes] after this is over with."

Jacob added, "That's what that message says to me."

And Viviana explained of Chris' actions, "What I don't like is that he waited until after he did it to share it with her. That's not the way that it works when you're building trust with someone."

"I think this is just compounding, you know, blow after blow after blow to this relationship," the expert said.

This wasn't the first time Jacob had expressed disgust and disappointment in Chris' behavior.

During the March 3 episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Jacob complained about Chris whispering in Paige's ear that he was "falling in love" with her shortly after asking for a divorce and admitting he was still in love with Mercedes and hoped to reconcile with his ex.

"Sorry, Chris, but get the hell out of junior high school with this sh-t!" Jacob exclaimed at the time. "Come on, man. Like, what are you doing?!"

"It just doesn't make any sense," Jacob continued. "And again, I don't want to comment on it, but I'm commenting on it here, so just grow up man, that's bush league!"

It appeared Chris was toying with Paige's feelings and emotions, but once Mercedes made it known she didn't want to get back together with Chris, Chris turned his attention towards Paige and decided to continue hanging out with her in attempt to build a deeper bond.

Married at First Sight's twelfth season has shown Chris and Paige eating dinner together, playing basketball and getting competitive over a game of pool.

However, Chris ultimately determined in the latest episode he wasn't feeling a connection with Paige and she only seemed to communicate with him once the cameras were rolling.

Given Paige had felt emotionally unattached for a while and was essentially hanging on by a threat at that point, the pair decided to part ways and stop trying because their relationship simply wasn't working out.

As for Jacob and Haley, their relationship seems headed for divorce.

At the one-month mark of marriage, Jacob felt rejected and frustrated over Haley's lack of attraction to him and lack of effort to try to change that, and Haley felt no romantic connection with her husband at all.

Jacob recalled Haley having a "disgusted sigh" when they hugged one time and she seemed okay with hugging complete strangers, but Haley argued, "And guess what? I don't ever have to see them again."

"Well don't worry, in four weeks, you won't have to see me ever again," Jacob snapped.

Jacob told his wife, "There's no resolve. It's like, 'Let's just die a slow death until we get divorced.' That's the reality of the situation. We'd have to get struck by lightning at this point and like each other to stay married."

Haley cried, saying she didn't see the relationship lasting and she didn't have much left to give.
