While Airris, dubbed "Reformed and Ready for Love" by Lifetime, and Jasmine, dubbed "Queen Without a King," got off to a good start, Airris determined during the honeymoon that he lacked a physical and sexual attraction to his wife.
During the February 15 episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Jasmine watched back a Season 16 clip of Airris and herself rating their marriage during their honeymoon in Jamaica, about one week after their wedding.

"I would give it a 7.5, an 8 maybe. What would you say, husband?" Jasmine says in the clip.
"I would say a 7," Airris replies.
"I'm not mad at that number. I'm not mad at that," Jasmine notes.
After Mackinley reveals in a confessional, "I think some people are lying," footage flashes back to Airris telling the other male cast members his real marriage rating on a scale.
"On a scale from 1-10 of Jasmine being attracted to me, I feel like she's at a 12. And I feel like I'm at a 4 or 5," Airris admits.

When asked how it felt to find out Airris had told her one rating and given a totally different rating to the guys, Jasmine admitted, "I was obviously blindsided."
"Because my conversation with him from Day 1 was, 'Just be honest.' So of course it was a little bit of humble pie, but at the end of the day, I wanted him to be honest," she said.

Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam asked Jasmine if she thought Airris was just trying to protect her feelings.
"When [Clint Webb] talked about what he wanted openly, it didn't work out too well for him," Keshia said, referring to how Clint had offended his wife Gina Micheletti by telling her that he used to date "athletic and slender" women.

"I don't think he was protecting me because you didn't say it in the big group setting but you still said it in a group setting," Jasmine explained.
"So that's not protecting me -- because it still came out."
Jasmine's MAFS co-star Nicole Lilienthal, who also appeared on the Afterparty episode, claimed Airris was just protecting himself because had he rated Jasmine a 4 or 5 in front of the entire cast, the women would've "given him the Clint treatment."
"He said it in front of the guys, where he felt like he was in a safe space," Nicole shared.
It came as a surprise to Jasmine that Airris wasn't really attracted to her because he had been asking sexual questions -- such as her favorite sexual position -- only a few days earlier.

"You're not attracted to me yet you clap for me when I come down the aisle [and] you tell the whole group, 'My wife's fine. We're going to be the first ones to have sex on the honeymoon,'" Jasmine recalled.
"But you're not attracted to me," she added with sarcasm.
Airris previously explained on Afterparty that he chose not to directly address his lack of sexual chemistry with Jasmine because he didn't want to "ruin the honeymoon." He said he was having "an internal battle" at the time over how to broach the topic with his wife.

Airris also claimed that he didn't want to have "meaningless sex" with his new wife before getting to know her on a deep level.
In terms of why he was lacking a physical attraction to Jasmine, Airris told the Married at First Sight cameras he's "a butt man" and Jasmine's butt looked "a little too small.
Airris also shared with Keshia during a January episode of Afterparty how his celebrity crush is actress Lauren London and he likes "thick, athletic women."
"But I've [also] dated super slim women that I've found absolutely gorgeous," Airris clarified on the talk show when speaking about his typical type.
"So I can't really narrow it [down]; I just kind of know it when I see it."
One week into his marriage, Airris told his wife that he was feeling "more of a friendly vibe" with her.
"But that's not necessarily a bad thing. If I had an accident tomorrow, I have 100 percent confidence you'd be right there in the hospital bed," Airris said.

"I've already figured that out in one week," he added. "So I feel like the other stuff, for me, I just need time to get there. I'm just hoping... you'll continue to [have patience]."
Jasmine then vented in a confessional about how she's not trying to be anybody's friend.
"I'm trying to be a wife out here in these streets! So, I guess I just didn't want to hear the 'friend' word from my husband," Jasmine complained.
Once the pair moved in together, Jasmine also discovered her husband is "bossy," as he was making "executive decisions" without hearing her opinion or input.
Jasmine and Airris both maintained a positive attitude and mindset about living together, but so far, their arrangement is off to a rocky start on the show.
Jasmine was also still concerned about the fact Airris had never been in love before. Jasmine also wasn't aware Airris had only been "90 percent" faithful in his only long-term relationship prior to signing up for Married at First Sight.
