Married at First Sight star Jason Carrion has gotten engaged to his girlfriend Roxanne Pallett only 10 months after divorcing Cortney Hendrix, whom he wed on Season 1 of Married at First Sight.

Jason took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce Roxanne, a British actress who has appeared on several U.K. reality series including Celebrity Big Brother, had accepted his marriage proposal.

Jason, 33, shared his big news with fans by posting a photo from the Rocky II scene in which Rocky, played by Sylvester Stallone, pops the question to his love Adrian, who was played by Talia Shire.

Jason captioned the image with the following line from the film: "I was wondering if you wouldn't mind marrying me very much."

Jason then went on to gush about his new fiance, writing on Instagram, "When I said you're the love of my life I truly mean that."

"You get me more than anyone ever has and ever will. I know that my mom is looking down on us smiling because she knows that her son has someone I can truly call family."

"To my fiance @roxannepalettofficial," Jason concluded, adding a heart emoji to his post.

Jason has been sharing the highs of his relationship with his Instagram followers for months now.

Late last month, the New York firefighter and wrestler uploaded a photo with Roxanne posing in front of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.

"It's hard to put into words how thankful I am this Thanksgiving. This time of year used to be incredibly hard for me, now I look forward to bringing in some amazing new memories," Jason wrote alongside the picture of the couple smiling.

"I know my mom is looking down on me and smiling at the man that I've become and can see her son is truly happy. #happythanksgivng."

And in October, Jason -- who is clearly a big Rocky fan -- posted a photo of Roxanne and himself dressed as Adrian and Rocky, respectively, for Halloween.

Jason captioned the post by quoting Rocky, writing, "I remember when she was standing there all nervous and shy with that small smile... And all I wanted her to do was trust me... And she did... she did... - @officialslystallone."

Jason and Roxanne's engagement comes less than a year after he and Cortney, 32, split for good following five years of marriage.

Jason and Cortney, who tied the knot in 2014 on Season 1 of Married at First Sight, quietly filed for divorce in February 2019 following a six-month separation.

Cortney had initially announced the divorce and explained she and Jason wanted to "move on in different paths" but the makeup artist still had love for her ex and would always have "a special place in [her] heart" for him.

"We asked for privacy this entire time bc we were trying to figure it all out. At one point we thought we were going to divorce in order to date and start all over the right way," Cortney continued.

"We have decided together to move on in different paths, but that doesn't mean we don't have love for each other. He will always have a special place in my heart and life."

Jason subsequently told People in a March 2019 statement he and Cortney had decided to separate "with a heart full of sadness."

"We fell deeply in love, and had very much a fairytale story being married as complete strangers in the docu-series, Married at First Sight," Jason said.

"We both had such an incredibly magical journey together these past few years, making this that much harder to write and even harder to live. These last few months, we asked for privacy to reevaluate things. It has been a very difficult time for me especially with all the rumors, as well as the public wanting updates about our marriage."

Jason therefore thanked fans for respecting the former couple's privacy, especially in light of the fact he and Cortney had fallen in love on television.

"Although we've decided to go our separate ways, we continue to love and support one another and still share a common goal to remain friends," Jason added at the time.

"I think the best way I could summarize how I feel is through a quote that has stayed with me for some time by Joseph Campell, 'We must be willing to let go of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.'"

During their Married at First Sight season, Cortney found it difficult to be married to a firefighter and Jason was dealing with his mother's failing health.

However, the couple decided to stay together at the end of the experiment on "Decision Day."

Jason and Cortney later starred on Married at First Sight: The First Year, along with fellow Season 1 lovebirds Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner, who are still happily married and expecting their second child together. The series wrapped in 2016.

Following Jason and Cortney's split, Cortney moved to North Carolina and debuted her new boyfriend Sherm on Instagram in June.

Meanwhile, Jason moved on with Roxanne, whom he met in Brooklyn, NY, when Roxanne exited a taxi and seemed to be lost, the U.K.'s Daily Mirror reported.

According to insiders, the pair reportedly felt "love at first sight" and decided to grab coffee together -- an outing which turned into a week-long date.

Reports Jason and Roxanne were dating first surfaced in August, when Roxanne confirmed their romance on Instagram.

The U.K.'s The Sun newspaper reported Roxanne and Jason began dating seven months after she was dumped by her fiance Lee Walton. She was then apparently living with Jason and his roommate in New York City by August.
