Married at First Sight star Jose has publicly addressed his explosive fight with Rachel in which he cursed at her and allegedly locked her out of their apartment after she accidentally called him by another's man name.

During Wednesday's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Jose watched back a Season 13 clip of the aftermath of his potentially relationship-ending fight with Rachel.

"You locked me out," Rachel tells her husband in the clip, the day after he had lashed out at her for calling him the wrong name.

"You disappear and I don't know what you're doing," Jose replies, a bit smugly.

"We were here with Brittaney [a producer] and I walked her out," Rachel counters. "I didn't take anything with me, I come back, and [the door] is deadbolted."

Jose responded by saying he locks the door and secures the apartment every night before he goes to sleep.

"Without your wife home?" Rachel asks.

"I don't know where you were at or what you were doing!" Jose argues. "You just took off!"

"Ask," Rachel says. "Then ask! I don't feel like you are remorseful at all. I don't feel that you're apologetic at all. And, yeah, I cannot be your wife."

Unfiltered host Jamie Otis -- who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight and is still married to her match, Doug Hehner -- appeared surprised and disappointed after seeing the footage.

"What were you thinking when Rachel said that she couldn't be your wife?" Jamie asked Jose.

"I was a bag of mixed emotions!" Jose said. "I didn't start this process to have it end like it did, in this way. There's still time to grow and time to improve and X, Y, and Z."

Jose had been triggered when Rachel called him by the wrong name, and fellow Married at First Sight groom Ryan later revealed Rachel had accidentally called her husband "Johnny."

Johnny is another Season 13 Married at First Sight participant. Not only was Johnny the couple's friend, but he was also married to Bao on the show.

On Married at First Sight's latest episode, Jose told Rachel that her apology for her mistake wasn't enough, and then Rachel said she wasn't going to allow a man, or anyone for that matter, to curse at her and talk to her that way.

"Then f-ck you! Get the f-ck out!" Jose shouted at his wife in front of Brittaney. "Get the f-ck out. Pack your bags, bounce! Alright, f-cking go."

Jose apparently threatened to throw something at Rachel, who said in reply that she clearly never had a good understand of the person she married.

Footage proceeded to show Rachel locked out of her shared apartment with Jose around 1AM, which resulted in Rachel calling her fellow cast members and friends in attempt to find a place to sleep for the night.

"It's one of these things where my emotions got the best of me there, and yeah," Jose confessed on Unfiltered.

Jamie asked Jose if his heated reaction represents how he typically acts when he gets upset.

"I'm not a hot-heated individual," Jose insisted. "I still am super remorseful and just very apologetic for the manner that it happened in."

Rachel, however, told Jose that he didn't look or act sorry and remorseful for how he had treated her when they discussed the matter after spending one night apart.

"Did you intentionally lock her out?" Jamie asked.

"That was not the case at all," Jose claimed. "After this conversation, she left [for] an extended period of time. It's getting later into the one, two, three or four o'clock in the morning -- whatever time it was."

Jose added, "That night, I don't know where she slept."

Rachel threatened to pack her bags and leave, and Jose didn't try to convince her to stay and hash things out.

However, Rachel decided not to run away from her problems. Instead, she told Jose how she felt and that she also had an issue with him allegedly trying to control their finances and living arrangement.

Later on, Rachel met up with the other Married at First Sight girls from Season 13, and Jose went golfing with the guys.

Jose told Johnny, Ryan, Zack and Gil Cuero that Rachel had asked him for a divorce the night prior and he might have overreacted to Rachel's error.

"I can understand you locking the doors and all, but not when you know your wife isn't at the house," Gil told his pal, holding Jose accountable. "Did you hit her up to see if she was going to come back?"

"No, I did not," Jose said. "But it was not intentional."

Johnny, Zack, Ryan and Gil weren't buying Jose's story and all agreed they wouldn't have handled the situation the same way. In fact, Ryan said he's "never accidentally locked the deadbolt."

Meanwhile, Rachel expressed to the other women how it seemed like Jose didn't care about her.

Rachel said she and Jose were "technically but not emotionally" married anymore, and she accused Jose of being "vindictive" and "unresponsive," adding that he had allegedly deflected blame onto her and exhibited offensive body language.

Jose came to the conclusion that he could no longer trust Rachel, who had previously cheated on a partner before, but Ryan and Zack mentioned how Rachel saying "Johnny" was probably an honest mistake since the cast constantly hangs out and talks about each other.

Jose said he still loved Rachel and missed her after their fight, but she definitely wasn't on the same page.

Rachel confided in her girls, "I do not love him anymore... Now I'm in totally unmarked territory. Could I regain trust? Can I love again, the same person? I have no idea."
