During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Justin watched back a Season 15 clip of his first dinner date with Alexis in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, when he told her exactly how he was feeling.
"How do you know that you want to spend the rest of your life with me?" Alexis asks in the clip.
"Because I love you," Justin quickly replies.
After Alexis shouts and then laughs out loud, she says, "Excuse me?"
"I love you," Justin repeats with confidence. "And I am in love with you, and it's not hard."
"Baby, do you want me to say, 'I love you?' Because it's too much for me right now in this very moment, and I can't. I'm not willing to," Alexis admits.
Justin then breaks down into tears and takes a deep breath.
"Is this too much for you?" Alexis asks, before Justin shakes his head no.
Justin had tears streaming down his face after watching back that footage.
When asked what was making him so emotional, Justin explained, "I had made my mind up the day at the altar, that I wanted to commit to this woman."

"I had made my mind up that, 'I'm just going to be committed,'" Justin shared. "And then you make your mind up that you're going to be committed, it's easy to love them."
But Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam asked Justin how he knew that he loved Alexis just a few days into their marriage.
"Everything that I've experienced so far with her -- and you can totally laugh at me -- I hadn't gotten that with any other woman," Justin revealed. "She makes me feel secure."

Married at First Sight star Binh said Justin's approach to his marriage inspired him.
"Growing up, you're taught to suppress your emotions, like, you kind of perpetuate and continue that. And Justin is not that," Binh said. "So I think that's awesome."
And Married at First Sight star Mitch agreed, saying, "I think it's beautiful."
"I think, I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, Justin, but you're putting all of your cards out there and it's so important to you to let her know how you feel, and I think it's very selfless in a way," Mitch explained.

Mitch admitted that if his wife Krysten said, "I love you," during their first dinner together in Mexico, he "probably would have self-destructed."
"I'm doing my best," Mitch declared with a laugh.
When Alexis walked down the aisle on her wedding day and first saw Justin, she told the cameras, "Physically, he's not awful, but he's not my type by looking at him."
Alexis had also met Justin on a dating app prior to the show and ignored and ghosted him.
But as the couple got to know each other better, Alexis realized why they were matched, and she began seeing Justin for everything he brought to the table. She thought he was warm, kind and made her feel comfortable, and Justin was totally smitten with his wife from the start.
When Justin and Alexis flew to Mexico for their honeymoon, they rode horses on the beach and furthered their emotional connection.

"I'm usually cool, calm and collected and it takes me a while to fall for somebody, but I am losing control and that is pretty scary," Alexis told the cameras. "It's just that look he gives me... I can tell he loves me by the way he looks at me."
Alexis apparently never felt that before in her life, but she was afraid to depend on Justin for happiness in case their relationship didn't end up working out.
While it almost pained Alexis to say it, she told Justin at dinner several days into marriage, "You're made for me, and I need you."
That's when Justin expressed his love, and he promised Alexis that he would be the best version of himself for her and eventually have children with her.
Justin then started to cry at the dinner table. He said if he got to design his perfect partner, it would be Alexis -- and that she had made it easy for him to be honest, open and totally himself. Justin said he didn't feel judged or insecure, and that feeling wasn't "lust."

"No it doesn't," noted Alexis, who had turned down three marriage proposals in her past and ran from marriage.
Justin said he felt like Alexis loved him back through her actions and so he didn't even need her say it back. Justin just wanted Alexis to be aware of where he stood, and he noted, "When you're ready, I'm here."
Married at First Sight currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime and also stars Mitch and Krysten, Binh and Morgan, Lindy and Miguel, and Stacia and Nate.
