Married at First Sight star Kate Sisk has revealed the full story about the mystery man she alluded to dating after her split from Luke Cuccurullo during her season's reunion special.

On the April 9 show, Kate told Married at First Sight's experts she was dating again and had been seeing a new guy for two months.
"It's going great! We like each other a lot. [Married at First Sight star Jasmine McGriff] has met him too. He's a teacher and a writer. He's very handsome and genuine," Kate gushed.
Kate, however, noted at the time she was taking things slow.
Well, according to Kate, the romance slowed down to a halt and crumbled shortly after her appearance on the reunion special.
"About a week after 'Decision Day,' a guy I had known for a few years messaged me and he asked if I wanted to get together and catch up," Kate shared.
Kate thought it was "perfect timing" because she needed to "go out, move on, and have fun with a handsome man" after both she and Luke determined they wanted to get a divorce.
Kate said the former couple went to concerts and enjoyed dinners out. The pair even attended a comedy show with Jasmine.
"He wrote a book and shared it with me. He's a great writer. And I played him a song and he said that he wishes I could sing him to sleep every night," Kate disclosed.

Kate explained she was receiving "compliments all around" from this man, which was definitely something lacking in her marriage to Luke, and he's "a great listener."

"So two months in is the time when you start to think about, 'Can I see myself with this person forever?' I guess that's why Married at First Sight is a two-month experiment!" Kate said.
Realizing she got off topic, Kate then got back to her initial point.
"We had a talk and I was still married, technically, at the time, and I had one week of processing time. He also had just gotten out of a few-years relationship, and we just decided to go our separate ways," Kate admitted.
Kate, however, urged her fans not to be sad for her.
"I think the time spent after a breakup is so important for a person to process what happened in the relationship, get to know themselves better, and get to know what they're looking for in their next [one]," Kate reasoned.
Kate said she had a lot of fun with this man and they remain friendly to this day.
"We kept each other company through breakup times. So, all of that being said, I am single -- and kind of loving it right now! That's my update," Kate concluded.
Married at First Sight's eighth season ended with two happy marriages and two divorces. In addition to Kate and Luke, Jasmine also parted ways from her husband on the show, Will Guess.

Kate and Luke opted to split after weeks of an exhausting uphill battle in which Luke was not attracted to his wife and Kate felt all the pressure in the world to keep her relationship intact despite feeling unwanted and unappreciated.
