Married at First Sight star Kristine Killingsworth admits her husband Keith Dewar is in la la land when it comes to his desire to start a family right away.

During a Tuesday night appearance on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Kristine watched a Season 8 clip of Keith insisting he'd like to welcome their first child as soon as possible.

Kristine, however, envisioned having kids once Keith is done with medical school, which would apparently take another five to seven years.
"You know, it's funny. [Keith] is living in a bit of a dream world," Kristine told Unfiltered host Jamie Otis.

"You still have to go through school and that's going to take a few years, and it's just like, you're not going to be ready! How are you going to be able to focus on what you're doing and we have multiple kids and a dog? It's just not realistic."
When Married at First Sight's eighth season began production, Kristine was 28 years old and Keith was 29 years old.
Keith has made it known on the show he'd love to be a father by age 30 to avoid becoming the old man at the children's playground, unable to keep up.
"My ideal timeline [for kids], I don't know why, but randomly I've always had the number 32 in my head," Kristine shared.
When Jamie pointed out that's no time at all, Kristine explained, "I will be ready to have kids at that point. Is he going to be in the position [to be ready]?"

And Kristine apparently doesn't think so.
"Is everything else going to be ready? Like me and my body, I'm cool with at 32. Everything else, I don't know how the other outside situations are going to be," Kristine elaborated.
"Like, how are our finances going to be? How much time is school taking up? School might take over the majority of our financial [situation]."
Kristine insisted she'd "prefer" Keith be "almost done" with school and "actually working in his field" at the time she gets pregnant.

Other than a few roadblocks along the way, Kristine and Keith have had a pretty solid marriage on the show, with good communication and compromise.
The other couples starring on Season 8 of Married at First Sight are AJ Vollmoeller and Stephanie Sersen, Kate Sisk and Luke Cuccurullo, and Will Guess and Jasmine McGriff.
The show currently airs on Tuesday nights on Lifetime, and the latest episode featured the couples navigating their relationships with only one week left until "Decision Day," when they must decide whether to stay married or get divorced.
