Married at First Sight star Krysten has revealed why she lashed out at Mitch at the couples' gathering and how she felt after threatening to be "done" with their relationship.

Krysten, a 32-year-old sales representative, and Mitch, a 41-year-old environmental policy advocate, were matched by Married at First Sight experts Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Pepper Schwartz to wed on the Lifetime reality series' fifteenth season.

At the start of the couple's honeymoon, Mitch panicked because, although he thought Krysten was an amazing woman, he wasn't attracted to her, and he was upset because he wasn't feeling any urge to be physical with her.

Krysten's confidence, poise, understanding and optimism slowly changed Mitch's outlook on his wife's appearance, but when he got an opportunity to chat with Krysten's sister Rachel, he asked how he could get Krysten to dress down, wear less makeup and be more natural looking.

On the September 28 episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Krysten watched back a Season 15 clip of the moment when she finally lost her cool with Mitch and told her truth.

"I want somebody who is excited that I walked into the room, and I want somebody who thinks I am beautiful with a little bit of makeup on. And I'm done," Krysten announces in the footage.

"I don't even really know [what to say]. It's like this is all so blindsiding to me," Mitch says.

"Oh my God!" Krysten yells. "Is this blindsiding to anybody?!"

Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam and Married at First Sight star Miguel Santiago both clapped for Krysten, and Keshia expressed how she was "so proud" of Krysten for finally standing up for herself and not letting Mitch get away with something that hurt her.

"I mean, wow, I definitely started to get emotional," Krysten shared of how she felt when watching that tense scene back.

"I'm really proud of myself. You can tell I had it built up for the entirety almost, and it just felt really good to just get everything out."

Krysten said while her outburst was in front of everybody, which probably wasn't the best way to go about it, she pointed out, "I'm going to start putting Krysten first -- and I'm not taking this anymore."

She added, "Enough is enough!"

When asked for her thoughts about Mitch's behavior, Krysten vented, "It's moments like this when I'm thinking, 'Wow, does he have no idea how to be in a relationship and to be married and to be loved and love someone?'"

Krysten said she felt like "a constant punching bag" for "someone who doesn't know how to speak to women."

Miguel said he thought Krysten handled the tense situation "beautifully" at the couples' gathering.

"You stood your ground, you expressed yourself. Sure, you were frustrated, but who wouldn't be given your circumstances?" Miguel reasoned.

"So, yeah, I thought you did a great job."

Krysten, however, said Mitch "could do something" to get their relationship back on track, even after this blowout.

"He could say all the things I've been wanting him to say this whole time. He could start thinking about me instead of himself," Krysten suggested.

"We could have the best remainder of this experiment and then he could pledge his love to me on Decision Day, and then I think that would be something I could work with."

Considering Krysten and Mitch had so many ups and downs in the first six weeks of their marriage, Keshia asked Krysten what was keeping her in her marriage.

"What keeps me in the marriage is that we're married and I would've cut and run long ago if this was a first date," Krysten admitted.

"But we're married! So the point is to give each other that chance, and we do have some really great times together."

Krysten also shared how she and Mitch had fun and so it would be helpful to "take the pressure off" for a little bit.

Krysten expressed on Married at First Sight's latest episode how Mitch's chat with Rachel about her appearance was "rude" and "hurtful."

Krysten suggested at the pool party that Mitch was controlling and he still seemed "unsure" about her after six weeks of being married, which didn't sit well with her and made her feel embarrassed.

"If you talk things through, I think that you'll find there's enough attraction," Dr. Pepper Schwartz told the couple at the pool party.

But Krysten interrupted the MAFS expert and shared, "I really, really respect you guys. I do. I'm a huge advocate of the experience, but I am not going to accept he is attracted to me 'enough.'"

Krysten said she was "tired" of giving Mitch credit for tiny amounts of progress here or there in the experiment when she felt she was compromising so much of herself to make the marriage work.

"He has made me be so confused about myself, and I came in a full woman -- a confident woman, who was so excited about life and to be a part of this... experience... And I'm done. I'm done," Krysten lamented.

Krysten demanded an apology from Mitch, but he argued that he wasn't trying to force his will on Krysten or change her. Mitch therefore said this turn of events was "regrettable" for him.
