Married at First Sight star Lindsey has claimed her fellow bride, Alyssa, was "fake" and not ready for marriage when they filmed Season 14 of the Lifetime series together.

In fact, Lindsey, 34, confirmed on Married at First Sight: Afterparty that there was definitely "a disconnect" she felt with Alyssa, 30.
"For sure," Lindsey told Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam.
"When I first met her and we were talking about what we wanted, she was so matter of fact. 'I want a muscley guy with tattoos and I'm going to Scituate no matter what.'"
Scituate is a small to mid-sized seacoast community located between Boston and Plymouth, MA.
"And I was thought," Lindsey continued, "'This girl wants to get married?! She is not willing to compromise at all. How is she going to be in a marriage?' And I thought, 'I don't think she's real.'"
Lindsey apparently doesn't think Alyssa was genuine with her intentions for going on Married at First Sight or honest about her needs and wants.
"I think she's fake," Lindsey said.
"And so when I think somebody's fake, I instantly let them come to me. I'm going to take you in doses and I'm going to watch you from a distance."
Alyssa also didn't seem to be a big fan of Lindsey when the girls first met at a restaurant.
As the cast members got to know one another, Alyssa determined that Lindsey was "a lot."

Lindsey appeared to rub Alyssa the wrong way when she said she wouldn't want to marry a man with a dog. Lindsey joked she would "big-foot" her husband's dog because she doesn't like animals, and rescuing dogs and cats is apparently Alyssa's main passion in life.
"I feel like I'm the complete opposite of her, like, I'm very quiet and I don't know if I see me and her being best friends," Alyssa noted at the time.
And Alyssa certainly kept her distance from Lindsey at the five brides' subsequent bachelorette party.
Footage showed Alyssa sitting in a booth with several of her closest friends, declining drinks and expressing disinterest -- and maybe even disgust -- in the wild party going on around her.
"Like you saw there [in that clip], she was sitting alone in the dark in the corner for most of the time. She wasn't engaging, so I just thought, 'Let her come to us when she's ready,'" Lindsey explained.
It turns out Alyssa allegedly blocked Lindsey on social media after the bachelorette party because she had heard Lindsey was talking trash about her.
On Married at First Sight's premiere, Lindsey, appearing to be a bit tipsy, told the cameras, "I love 95 percent of the brides I met. I think they're badass and we're going to have friendships for life."

"Jasmina f-cking looks like Naomi Campbell. She's just gorgeous. Noi is your wild card. Katina, love it -- she knows what she wants! There's a fifth bride, right?" she joked.
"What's her name? I mean, really, she's been missing."
But Lindsey told Keshia that she believes she still treats people with respect, regardless of whether she likes them or not.
"I read your energy right when I meet you, and if you're not somebody that I'm for, I'm still going to respect you and be kind to you because I want you to have the very best in life," Lindsey claimed.
"Each person is so unique and beautiful and brings something. You may not come to my Christmas party, but you're a good person!"
Lindsey's wedding to Mark Maher was shown on the latest Married at First Sight episode of Season 14, but Alyssa has yet to meet and marry her match, Chris, on the show.
The other three couples who will marry this season are Jasmina and Michael, Katina and Olajuwon, and Noi and Steve.
