Married at First Sight star Lindsey Georgoulis has claimed Mark has always been just a "side piece" in his previous relationships.

Two weeks into marriage, Mark, 37, said he wasn't falling in love with Lindsey, 34, because her "loud" and opinionated personality often embarrassed him and made him feel uncomfortable in public settings, especially when excessive drinking was involved.

Mark also accused Lindsey of being "a lot" taking a "condescending" tone with him at times, and he said their different personalities and communication styles prevented them from bonding and truly understanding one another.

Lindsey, feeling Mark had shut down in their marriage emotionally and physically, nearly gave up on the relationship and told her husband that she only had one percent of effort left to give.

However, Lindsey chose to stick it out with Mark, and she explained her thinking behind that decision during a March 2 appearance on Married at First Sight: Afterparty hosted by Keshia Knight Pulliam.

"I'm never going to leave somebody when they're down, and I feel like as a wife, it's for better or worse, 'till death do us part," Lindsey shared.

"And I know when Mark has told me about his past relationships, he's never been in one more than two months in 10 years. And all of his relationships, he's always been the side piece."

Keshia pointed out how Mark appeared to be in "new territory" with Lindsey, who agreed, "Yeah! He was a sidepiece... for real!"

"He would date somebody who had a boyfriend," Lindsey revealed. "He even proposed to somebody who had a boyfriend!"

"When?!" Keshia asked. "I'm speechless."

Lindsey acknowledged she was experiencing the worst in her marriage two weeks into the process but she believed things could get better with time.

Lindsey and Mark's biggest blowout fight so far this season occurred at a bowling alley.

After Mark gave Lindsey the silent treatment for essentially preaching to the other Season 14 Married at First Sight couples about intimacy, she lashed out at him and called him "pathetic."

"Honestly, I think I'm done because my husband's a f-cking idiot," Lindsey vented to a producer in the ladies' bathroom.

"Like, I'm sorry you're not a strong man and you can't speak up right now because your life is in f-cking crisis."

She added, "Have fun living in your roach-infested f-cking apartment with your [alleged $60k per year] income. I'm gonna go back into South Boston with my good life and have fun. I don't need you. Where [are] you going back? Your mama's?"

Lindsey was struggling to deal with Mark's alleged hot and cold tendencies, and she accused him of holding back his feelings and not giving her any love, care, reassurance or validation in their relationship when she just continued to give and give to him.

"We went from having sex to you not even wanting to hold my hand or be affectionate with me," Lindsey explained after moving into an apartment with Mark.

"My feelings are hurt because you went from all to nothing. I am so insulted and offended by you. I am so mad!... And you are f-cking clueless right now, and it makes me so mad! Work on us!"

Mark admitted that he wasn't feeling like himself, like he was out of his own skin, explaining, "I've seen you poke and it makes me uncomfortable. But I don't poke you; I just shut my mouth."

During a therapy session, Married at First Sight expert, Pastor Calvin Roberson, acknowledged how Lindsey needed to pull back on occasion and give herself to Mark in "doses."

But when she flipped out at the bowling alley, Lindsey yelled, "I hate my husband. I'm sick of dealing with his bullsh-t. He is a pathetic loser. I'm all in until I'm out."

Lindsey said another wife would not deal with Mark's "bullsh-t" and the least he could do was give her an orgasm.

"All I need is an orgasm, and he was like, 'I want to pull it back. I'm not emotional right now,'" Lindsey complained. "And I'm like, 'Why? Because you've got small balls? I don't seem him right now as good."

Once the pair talked things out, Lindsey complained about how she had been absorbing Mark's "toxic sludge for weeks," but Mark responded, "Same!"

Lindsey said she felt unappreciated and that Mark wasn't treating her great.

Mark therefore took Lindsey to a fancy sushi dinner on Day 20 of marriage and attempted to turn their dynamic around.

Mark applauded Lindsey for all of the nice things she had done for him, and he apologized for hurting her. Mark promised to not cause her any more pain and to be more grateful for her gestures.

With that being said, the pair determined his or her spouse was "worth" the work, and Lindsey later surprised Mark with a fun outing to the batting cages so he could play a little baseball.

Married at First Sight's fourteenth season, which currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime, also stars Noi Phommasak and Steve Moy, Jasmina Outar and Michael Morency, Katina Goode and Olajuwon Dickerson, and Chris Collette and Alyssa Ellman.
