Married at First Sight star Luke Cuccurullo has revealed the real reason why he was so reluctant to kiss Kate Sisk in the days after they got married on Season 8 of the Lifetime reality series.

Luke was forced to watch a clip from the season in which Kate confronted him and asked why he hadn't kissed her yet. Kate figured Luke just wanted to move slow in their relationship, but she admitted she was ready for a kiss at any moment.
Jamie then asked Luke a "viewer question" on Unfiltered, asking the reality TV star explain the real reason why he didn't want to kiss his new wife.
"The real reason I'm not kissing Kate is because I'm not feeling that spark and that, kind of, physical attraction right away, and I don't want to force anything that's not there," Luke admitted.
"Do you think Kate knows that?" Jamie asked.
"Um, I think it's obvious to both of us," Luke said with an awkward laugh.
Jamie then asked Luke to describe what he was missing from Kate.
"The want to kiss her in that moment," Luke simply replied.
"Fair enough," Jamie noted.

Luke was also joined by his Married at First Sight co-stars Jasmine McGriff and Keith Dewar on the Unfiltered episode.

When Keith was asked what he would do if his wife, Kristine Killingsworth, showed no sign of attraction towards him, Keith explained, "I would be depressed. I wouldn't want to be there, to be honest. That's just me."
"If I feel like you're not attracted to me," Keith elaborated, "then how is that going to make me be attracted to you?"
Jasmine then shared how she would react if she was in Kate's position. (Jasmine tied the knot with Will Guess on Married at First Sight).
"I don't know, maybe unwanted. I have, I think, a lot of self-confidence, but I'm not sure if Kate does. So, I don't want her to feel really bad in that situation. Sometimes attraction has to grow," Jasmine reasoned.
Jasmine therefore advised Luke to think about why he was matched with Kate and figure out what other boxes she checks off for him, even if physical attraction isn't one of them.
"[I'd be like], 'This guy is awesome and so I can't judge him just on physicality," Jasmine said. "I don't know. I just don't want them to give up on it."

However, Luke and Kate were only married for two days when Luke was experiencing a lack of a spark.

"Yeah, I'm definitely super hopeful and very optimistic," Luke said.
In addition to these three couples, Season 8 of Married at First Sight on Lifetime also stars AJ Vollmoeller and Stephanie Sersen.
