While filming Married at First Sight's seventh season, Mia -- whose formal name is Ameea Bally -- was detained by Texas Department of Public Safety officers in Tarrant County, TX, in March due to an arrest warrant that was issued in Louisiana on February 6, Monsters and Critics reported.
The felony warrant was reportedly issued for the international airline recruiter's arrest after her former boyfriend filed several complaints with authorities in Louisiana, alleging numerous stalking claims and her unauthorized use of an "access card" belonging to him.

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana confirmed to Monsters and Critics the arrest warrant originated after Mia's ex-boyfriend accused her of harassment and repeatedly stalking him in 2017 and 2018 following the couple's break-up in December 2016.

Mia was reportedly taken from the airport to Tarrant County Jail where her mugshot was taken, but she was released after Ouachita Parish declined to extradite her.
Mia's ex filed reports with the police department in Monroe, LA, on four different occasions, according to Monsters and Critics -- twice in 2017, and twice in 2018.
Separate reports were filed in June 2017 and August 2017, and two more reports were filed in January 2018.
Mia allegedly called, texted, and emailed her ex when he wanted to be left alone. The man also claimed she would show up at his home and workplace uninvited -- including one time when officers were already there responding to his complaint.

According to the police report obtained by Monsters and Critics, Mia had also ordered an iPhone and two protection plans on Amazon that slapped her ex with a bill of $1455.18, which he was able to recover, in December 2017.
Mia's last reported contact with her ex-boyfriend was on January 18, when she emailed him looking to reconcile and get back together.
That incident reportedly prompted the Monroe Police Department to issue a warrant for her arrest on February 6 -- about a month and a half before she was detained at the airport on March 27.
According to the warrant, Monroe police charged Mia with three counts of stalking and one count of unauthorized use of an access card.
As shown on the Married at First Sight preview, Mia was detained by customs officials at an airport while her new husband, Tristan Thompson, expressed concern and frustration. They were supposed to be traveling to their honeymoon destination after tying the knot.
