In the process of making predictions and sizing up Married at First Sight's Season 12 couples -- who will face Decision Day on next week's episode on Lifetime -- Miles and Karen reflected on their own experiences while filming Season 11 in Atlanta, GA.
"Decision Day, I was saying 'no,'" Miles announced.
Elizabeth's jaw nearly dropped to the floor upon hearing Miles initially wanted to divorce Karen and she yelled, "What?!"
"Until probably right before I got to Decision Day," Miles continued.
After seeing Karen that day, Miles recalled, "I'm like, 'You know what? She's got that orange dress on! Yeah, I'm gonna say yes!'"
Everyone laughed as footage then aired of Karen stepping into her final meeting with Miles and the Married at First Sight experts wearing a tight, off-the-shoulder orange dress with a tie belt.
"I'm gonna say 'yes' real quick!" Miles said with a laugh. "You know? Let me just say 'yes' and see what happens."
Amani joked, "You're either going to say 'yes' or you're going to wish you had!"

As for Karen, she said she probably knew that she wanted to stay married to Miles around Recommitment Day, which was weeks into the process when Married at First Sight's experts allowed the couples to pull the plug on their marriages early or choose to stick it out.

"I'd say I probably knew I was going to say 'yes' [on Decision Day] around Recommitment Day," Karen shared.
"[Miles] stepped outside of his comfort zone of like Prince-Charming Miles into, like, real Miles, and that for me was a big moment. I was like, 'Okay, this is what I could get used to.'"
Both Jamie and Woody revealed they had made the decision not to divorce their wives during the couples' retreat, while Elizabeth shared a sweet story about how a walk in Charlotte one evening after a date night made her realize she wanted to continue walking with Jamie forever.
Before agreeing to stay married on Decision Day, Miles and Karen -- who had only been spouses for a month at this point -- were forced to quarantine with each other in New Orleans, LA, where Season 11 of the show filmed, amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
"We quarantined together for a couple months, so that was really tough. The majority of our marriage has been in quarantine, but I feel like if we can overcome this, we can overcome pretty much anything," Miles said Married at First Sight's eleventh season.
The couple had many obstacles to overcome during that time. Karen, for instance, struggled to express herself to Miles and compliment him, and she desired a manly-man who would put her in her place sometimes.

The sweet and sensitive Miles wasn't sure he could provide what Karen needed from him since she was standoffish and a tad cold in their relationship, and it pissed him off when his wife would imply he's "overly emotional."

Karen barely kissed or held her husband's hand throughout the season.
But Karen was able to open up more once Miles stopped being "Mr. Nice Guy" and she could see his genuine, authentic self.
Karen also appreciated Miles' guts and honesty when he expressed how he desired more affection and reassurance in their marriage.
However, it was almost too little too late because Miles confessed he was torn in two different directions on Decision Day.
"My head is saying, 'You've been married for four months and you haven't gotten what you need and you should get a divorce,'" Miles said in a confessional.
"My heart is saying, 'Karen is the type of person that you wanted and what she has shown you in the last three or four weeks is somebody you could see spending the rest of your life with, for sure.'"

Miles added, "I think that's what makes this a very complicated decision... I don't know if she'll be able to meet my needs physically and emotionally."
But Karen said she could envision herself spending the rest of her life with Miles on Decision Day, and Miles wanted to give their relationship a chance for that to happen.
During the Season 11 reunion special that aired in October 2020, Miles said he and Karen were meeting each other's needs and they "made a commitment to each other" to "choose each other every day."
"Every day is not easy -- most of them are -- but we find those difficult moments and it's [about] working through them and talking through them and ultimately realizing that we are married and we are committed to each other," he explained.
Married at First Sight's currently-airing twelfth season stars Erik Lake and Virginia Coombs, Haley Harris and Jacob Harder, Ryan Oubre and Clara Berghaus, Briana Myles and Vincent Morales, and Paige Banks and Chris Williams.
