During the August 3 episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Mitch watched back a clip of his first dinner date with Krysten in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
"I definitely would be comfortable advancing more in the physical and sexual department," Krysten tells her husband.

"I wish I felt a little more of that at this point," Mitch replies.
When Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam asked Mitch how it felt watching that footage back, Mitch explained, "I'm kicking myself."
"I really wish I just could've played it a little more cool, and it's easy to say that now."
Keshia pointed out how hindsight is always 20/20.
"In retrospect, I feel almost a little selfish about doing that and saying it more for me, just so I could get it off of my chest, so that I could kind of be myself again," Mitch said.

Mitch apparently recognized how he wasn't taking Krysten's feelings into account in that moment.
"You live and learn," Mitch said.
When asked to reveal his physical type, Mitch shared, "I don't know. I've had different types. My type has always been, like, I have a great relationship and maybe it ends and then I tend to be attracted to people who kind of reminded me of that last great relationship."
But Mitch said his type has "evolved," adding, "When [MAFS experts] asked me who my celebrity crush was, I said Jessica Biel, so that will explain it, you know."

Married at First Sight stars Binh and Justin joined Mitch on Afterparty, and Binh laughed about how his friends had anticipated he would be matched with a "Blasian or Filipino" woman based on women he's dated in the past.
And Justin opened up about what he would've done had he not been attracted to his spouse, Alexis.
"I'm that guy who connects on a mental level," Justin told Keshia. "And so, I would've just rolled with the punches. I would've found something else about her and focused on that."
And Binh confessed that he "probably would've held it in" if he didn't find his wife, Morgan, attractive.
"And so I commend Mitch for being honest and open and handling hard conversations like that," Binh concluded.

Mitch and Krysten had an enjoyable wedding day, but Mitch let the cameras know but Mitch admitted at the beginning of their honeymoon how he wasn't "feeling that physical spark" with his wife and he couldn't pretend otherwise.
"It's just not quite there for me right now, and maybe I may not be feeling that physical attraction with you. And that's not easy for either of us. I'm the one with the issue here; it's not about you," Mitch admitted to Krysten at their first dinner in Mexico.
Krysten said she didn't understand because when Mitch looked at her, she could tell that he thought she was attractive. Mitch said the physical part was just moving slower for him.
Krysten said she wasn't going to try to convince her husband that she's pretty and a catch, and Mitch agreed, saying he just hoped those feelings would come organically and he wasn't going to throw in the towel or cut and run.
"I'm committed to seeing this through with you, day by day," Mitch noted.

Krysten acknowledged how if she poked and prodded for specifics, it would probably just hurt her feelings. She was on the verge of tears but suggested an attraction may come.
"I feel confused. I just feel blindsided by him because his actions are showing me constantly that he is into me," Krysten told the cameras.
"I'm just kind of hoping he is filled with anxiety and is in his head. I genuinely believe there is a chance he could get there on his own, but I'm not doing any convincing."
Krysten called this "the worst case scenario," her husband not being attracted to her, but she planned to continue being herself and just having fun.
Krysten said they had great conversations and got along great, so she intended to focus on the positives.

Before bed, Krysten and Mitch took shots together and munched on chocolate-covered strawberries.
Mitch told the guys on a boat the next day how he had cuddled with Krysten and given her a little kiss before bed, which actually got him "all fired up."
Mitch and Krysten then received professional massages, and Mitch told the cameras how a fire can always be stoked and his prior interaction with Krysten in the bedroom gave him some hope.
Krysten was happy Mitch had made a move, and she told him that he's a good kisser. But Krysten explained to Mitch how she didn't go all the way with him due to feeling insecurities. She didn't want that night to be their "moment."
Krysten wanted to feel wanted and appreciated, telling her husband, "If we do get to Decision Day and I don't have sex from you or an 'I love you' from you, I will ask for a divorce."
