Married at First Sight star Olajuwon Dickerson has explained why he blew up at wife Katina Goode after finding an old dating app on her phone shortly after their one-month anniversary.

Katina and Olajuwon, both 29, were matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Viviana Coles and Pastor Calvin Roberson to wed on Season 14 of the Lifetime reality series.

During the March 30 episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Olajuwon watched back a Season 14 clip of Katina seeking comfort in her friends and fellow Married at First Sight co-stars Michael Morency and Jasmina Outar after her first explosive fight with Olajuwon.
"For me to just do this one thing and that's what you're going to use against me, it's like, how is that supposed to make me feel?" Katina asks her pals Michael and Jasmina.

"You understand what I'm saying?" Katina continues, before breaking down into tears. "Like, I'm a real person with real feelings."
Olajuwon told Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam that he felt "so many different emotions" seeing that footage.
"That's probably one of the most emotional scenes I've seen with her, and I wish I'd seen that in person," Olajuwon shared.
"Because that is a good enough apology, to see that she's emotional about it. That means it affected her."
Olajuwon went on to explain where his anger came from.

"Katina and I have deep conversations, and I told her who I was right from the beginning and what I used to do to people," Olajuwon said.
"The backstory is that I used to manipulate people and do that to women that deserved better!"

When Olajuwon was a player and he admittedly dated with selfish intentions prior to marrying a stranger, he even told women that his name was Isaac, which became his alter ego and a way for women to be unable to find and reach him after a hookup.
Olajuwon therefore admitted, "So for me to open up to you in that way, and then I see the things that I used to do, it hurts your feelings."

"I guess Katina finally hurt my feelings, for real, for real -- where it hurts in my core," he concluded.
Keshia confirmed that it looked like Olajuwon was hurt from the situation, and his Married at First Sight co-star Noi Phommasak shared what it was like to experience Olajuwon's meltdown during a couples' dinner at a restaurant. (At the time, Olajuwon wouldn't reveal specifics on what he was angry about).
"I'm thinking, 'This conversation probably should have happened in private,'" Noi said.
"Because at the time, nobody knew really what was going on -- even Katina, at the time, had no idea what Olajuwon was upset about. So it was a little awkward, a little bit awkward."
Once Katina and her husband returned home to their Boston apartment, Olajuwon finally discussed what had infuriated him and how he thought the dating app was inappropriate and offensive.

"I don't have a [dating app] profile. This is old," Katina explained of the app, which had allegedly been on her phone for a couple of years.
She therefore told the cameras, "I literally forgot that it was even there."
Olajuwon said Katina having a dating app on her phone was like spitting in his face and it was totally "f-cked up."
He lost his cool and yelled, "I deleted every single f-cking thing that makes you question who I am as a person! You can roll your eyes, that's all I need to tell you!"

"I'm rolling my eyes because you're yelling at me!" Katina shouted in reply.
"Okay, then we don't need to talk. We don't need to talk," Olajuwon snapped at his wife before walking away from her.
Katina then ripped off her microphone, told production to leave, and announced, "You're about to see the real Katina!"
Olajuwon was left questioning Katina's character, saying it was "common sense" for his wife to have deleted all dating apps before getting married.
"I don't like to use the word 'divorce,' but if you're asking the experts to find your love, then got off the apps. That doesn't make sense. If you want to be out there looking for yourself then you don't need to be on Married at First Sight," Olajuwon said on the March 16 episode.
Olajuwon's reaction made Katina worried about how he'd handle conflict and disagreements in the future, but Katina ultimately apologized and the pair worked through their issues.

On the show's latest episode, Olajuwon admitted he must learn how to control his emotions better but they were "good" again and had agreed to a fresh start.
Although the couple had yet to consummate their marriage, they both said they appreciated each other and real feelings had developed.
Married at First Sight's fourteenth season currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
