Married at First Sight star Paige Banks is opening up about her family's honest reaction to her decision to marry a stranger, who turned out to be Chris Williams, on Season 12 of the Lifetime reality series.

Paige, a religious and independent woman who desires children and a caring and ambitious husband, put her fate in the Married at First Sight's experts hands to find a match for her.

Paige was convinced God had led her to this process and she would end up with the man she's meant to be with.

During the January 20 episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Paige watched back a Season 12 clip in which she shared with her family how MAFS experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Viviana Coles and Dr. Pepper Schwartz had found her a match and she'd be walking down the aisle in two weeks.

Paige claimed to her mother and brother that her only dealbreakers were a man who's not God-fearing or doesn't want children, but her brother wasn't buying it.

"I've heard you say more dealbreakers than that with exes. Me being married a year and some change, I just know the challenge that you're in for. You basically chose a really difficult path in doing this," Paige's brother said in the clip.

On Unfiltered, host Jamie Otis -- who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight -- asked Paige what it was like hearing her brother criticize her decision to wed a stranger.

"It was like, 'Wait, what? Why?' But I feel like my family is very traditional, and to see me take such a risk and get married to someone they don't even know -- not even their first or last name, no social security number or nothing -- [was hard]," Paige explained.

"But I said, 'I want to take a risk on love. I want to take a bet on myself.' And if not now, then when?"

Jamie asked Paige if she agreed or disagreed with her family's comments.

"No, I mean, I have nothing to lose! I'm not dating. I'm single, you know? I know the things that I desire and deserve, and I'm pretty much settled in my career," Paige shared.

"I'm ready to take that next chance in my life."

Although Paige's family was a little surprised by her choice to marry at first sight and worried about her future, Paige insisted her loved ones had her back going into her wedding day.

"My family is going to support me regardless of whatever I do. They will give me hell for it, but at the end of the day, they love me unconditionally and they're there," Paige said.

Once Paige met Chris at the altar, she was hoping he'd be her happily-ever-after and their relationship would thrive and deepen over time.

When asked why her past relationships didn't last or work out, Paige explained, "I think the issue I seem to face is their level of readiness."

"I feel like I know my worth and I know the things that I desire and deserve, and I shouldn't have to wait on somebody else's timeline to meet that," she added.

So was Chris truly ready for marriage? The Married at First Sight groom admitted he was engaged only three months before signing up for the extreme experiment.

Chris also told the experts that he wanted the experts to find him a woman who is "intelligent, submissive, sexy, good in bed, and a freak."

Although Paige insisted on Unfiltered she's not the submissive type, she does appear to fit the rest of Chris' description.

Not only did Paige share with her fellow Married at First Sight brides how she hates condoms, but she also showed off some skimpy, black lingerie when Dr. Pepper visited her home during the matchmaking process.

Paige, who enjoys dressing to show off her curves, also said she's willing to do some role-playing in the bedroom.

Paige hoped to end up with a protector and provider who would be willing to take the lead in their marriage at the end of the day, and Chris was claiming he wanted to be that type of husband.
