Married at First Sight star Ryan Oubre is opening up about never having told a woman that he loves her before.

Ryan insisted he was ready for marriage despite never having been in love before.
On the January 27 episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Ryan watched back a Season 12 clip in which his new bride Clara admitted her biggest fear going into the Married at First Sight process was falling in love with her husband and not being loved in return.
Unfiltered host Jamie Otis -- who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight -- pointed out, "Okay, Ryan, you said you've never told anyone that you love them. Have you gotten close to saying 'I love you' before?"
"There's definitely been girls in my life that I've cared deeply for, and I think I've kind of had to rework my thought on the idea of saying that and why I haven't done that myself," Ryan shared.
After all, Ryan previously revealed on the Married at First Sight: Matchmaking Special he's "had some great interracial relationships."
Based on Ryan's first encounter with his wife on their wedding day, Jamie asked Ryan if he believed he could fall in love with someone like Clara.
"On my first encounter, there's nothing to tell me that I wouldn't not fall in love with her, yeah," Ryan said with a laugh. "It's early."
In fact, Ryan said he understood why he and Clara were matched within the first few minutes of speaking to his bride.

Fellow Married at First Sight groom Vincent Morales joined Ryan on Unfiltered and was asked if he imagined the possibility of falling in love with his wife, Briana Miles, on his wedding day.

"Do you think she could potentially be someone that you do have that true, deep love for?" Jamie asked.
"Definitely," Vincent replied.
"Yeah? You [felt] like that on Day 1?" Jamie asked.
"Yeah, I mean, I feel like anybody doing this [is] because they really want to, because what we've been through up to this point has been a lot, and I feel like she's being genuine," Vincent explained.
On the show's twelfth-season Matchmaking Special that aired last month, Ryan elaborated on his dating history and we he chose to sign up for such an extreme experiment.
"I would definitely say I've worked a lot to get to where I'm at and maybe at the sacrifice of a relationship. I do want to be in love, but I've never said 'I love you' to somebody. I feel like that is a very special thing to say to somebody," Ryan explained.
"I've had some incredible role models to truly see what love is, and so I hold it in the highest regard of anything in a relationship. And I do believe that the experts have the upperhand in finding that person."

Ryan also claimed on the Matchmaking Special, "I'm ready for love and marriage at this point because I'm put a lot of work into Ryan... I've got my feet on the ground. What I'm missing in my life is just that person to lean on."
After Ryan and Clara met at the altar, Clara gushed about how she was attracted to her groom right away, and she even went as far as to say they seemed "meant to be."
On their wedding night, Clara said laying in bed with her husband felt good and she figured sparks and chemistry would come easy and naturally for the both of them.
"If sex happens, it happens. But maybe we'll keep that to ourselves -- we'll see!" Clara told the cameras with a laugh.
As Clara revealed on a previous Unfiltered broadcast, she'd be willing to try anything once in the bedroom to make her husband happy!
