The Lifetime broadcast ended on a cliffhanger, with doctors repeatedly asking Shawniece to push as she was delivering her first child.
"Thank you for this opportunity & trusting me with such a blessing position in life. You are now my life partner and together we will give Laura the tools she need in life," Shawniece captioned an Instagram photo she posted Tuesday showing the newborn's arrival.
Shawniece gave birth to Laura Denise Pierre on August 20, but she and Jephte didn't announce the baby's arrival until mid-October.
"I personally thank you for your honesty, and willingness to get through it," Shawniece continued in her post.
"No matter what we have promised together to be the best parents. So happy we can relive this moment again tonight at 10pm on @lifetimetv, the delivery of my everything Laura Denise Pierre. #marriedatfirstsight #mafshappilyeverafter #mafs #shawniece #jephte #lifetime #blacklove."
Shawniece first revealed she and Jephte were expecting a baby just before the Season 6 finale of Married at First Sight, which filmed in Boston, MA, and aired in late April.

Shawniece's recent Instagram post appears to demonstrate how far she and her husband have come since deciding to stay together on "Decision Day," because once Married at First Sight cameras left their home, their relationship fell apart and they separated.
Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After has shown Shawniece and Jephte trying to put the pieces of their marriage back together after Jephte apparently slept with other women during a temporary split.
While they subsequently reunited, the pair still chose not to immediately resume wearing their wedding rings.

Jephte has said he had an extremely difficult time dealing with social-media backlash during his initial season, mainly because it was obvious he "wasn't feeling" his wife in the beginning of their relationship.
