Married at First Sight star Taylor Dunklin is explaining why she chose to recommit to Brandon Reid on "Recommitment Day" when their marriage was clearly failing.

During the March 25 broadcast of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Taylor said she was feeling optimistic about the future of her marriage after agreeing to reconcile with Brandon and attempt to work out their issues more than a month into the extreme experiment.

"I'm just really hopeful that, if anything, there could just be less drama, like, I don't want any more drama!" Taylor explained.

"I just want some sort of positivity," she added.

Unfiltered host Jamie Otis laughed about how Taylor had low expectations because Taylor wasn't even asking for any romance with her husband.

"I don't want anything. Forget the romance! Just give me less drama, please!" Taylor exclaimed while laughing. "Everything is so heavy. It's just draining."

Jamie therefore noted, "I'm curious why you did recommit, if that's how you're feeling."

"Because it's like, we only have a little bit of time left to get to know each other, like, I don't know you! I have no idea who you are! I don't hate you, and I don't want to get -- I just want you to give [more]," Taylor said of Brandon.

Taylor got a bit flustered and took a second to collect her thoughts and deliver the right words.

"I just want to give him a chance to prove he is who he's saying he is," Taylor clarified. "Let's just drop the drama. I don't have any drama. I don't want any drama."

Jamie, however, suggested Taylor might've been getting to know the real Brandon all along, unfortunately.

"I think you are getting to know him very well. In the last few weeks, he's had very consistent behavior. But we'll see!" Jamie said on Unfiltered.

Leading up to "Recommitment Day," Brandon wasn't portrayed in the most positive light on Married at First Sight's tenth season.

Brandon, for instance, was shown lashing out at production for following him around on the last day of his honeymoon in Panama and then cursing and yelling at Taylor for trying to calm him down.

Brandon also didn't seem very appreciative when Taylor cooked him a beautiful dinner one night, and he was always suspicious of Taylor's intentions for going on the show, social-media activity, and phone use.

Taylor did post a disrespectful Instagram Stories video while married to Brandon in which she claimed she was single and on the lookout for a guy who could actually meet her qualifications, but when Taylor wrote an apology in an anniversary card she gave to Brandon, he didn't think it was genuine and chose not to accept it.

Taylor has also accused Brandon of disrespecting her on a daily basis, not wanting to spend time with her, and not showing any real interest in her.

Meanwhile, Brandon was "disgusted" with his wife over her Instagram Stories video and deemed it the biggest betrayal possible, other than physically cheating on him.

It seemed Brandon and Taylor's marriage was over, especially since both spouses appeared to be stubborn and struggled to let go of the past and move forward.

However, after Brandon and Taylor decided to recommit to each other on "Recommitment Day" in last week's episode, their relationship got back on the right track.

The latest broadcast of Married at First Sight that aired on Wednesday night featured the couple working on their communication and exchanging compliments more. They also bonded over a trip to Brandon's hometown and old stomping grounds.

Married at First Sight's tenth season also stars Mindy Shiben and Zach Justice, Derek Sherman and Katie Conrad, Meka Jones and Michael Watson, and Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd.
