Married at First Sight star Will Guess doesn't really take responsibility for his "communication issues" with wife Jasmine McGriff.

During a Tuesday night appearance on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Will watched back a Season 8 clip in which he was shown telling show expert, Dr. Jessica Griffin, "clear and effective communication" was "lacking" in his marriage and he wished Jasmine would dig deeper into his layers.

"I don't know [why it's lacking]. I think I'm an effective communicator. I don't know!" Will told Unfiltered host Jamie Otis. "It's kind of like we speak a different language sometimes."
Will has said numerous times on Married at First Sight he is turned on by mental stimulation and an intellectual connection or conversation.

Will has told Jasmine his desire to be physically intimate must start with a mental and emotional bond first.
"There's a whole lot to me, a whole lot of depth to me," Will explained, "and that's kind of unlocked through conversation. And it's just, like, I don't feel like she digs deep enough or digs sometimes at all."
Jamie, however, asked Will if there's anything he could do to improve the situation or his relationship.
"I could probably be a little bit more transparent," Will admitted. "So that's probably something I will do."
After all, on the latest episode of Married at First Sight, Jasmine cooked Will a beautiful dinner and asked about his background and past relationships. Jasmine thought she challenged Will that night, but he still wasn't up for making love.

Jasmine therefore started questioning whether she would ever be enough for her husband.

Will's Married at First Sight co-star, Kristine Killingsworth, also made an appearance on the Unfiltered special.
"I feel like your biggest roadblock right now are the gender roles. It seems like you guys just can't get past it," Kristine told Will.
Will wanted to enter a marriage that is a 50/50 partnership, with both individuals working and paying the bills. Jasmine, however, envisioned her man bringing home the bacon while she cooks, cleans and takes care of children.

"It seems like you're making it too big of an issue," Kristine continued, "so maybe you should just table [gender roles] for a little while or come back to it. It sounds like you guys need to work on your communication because you're just missing each other."
Will then explained that although his wife's views on gender roles differ from his own, there's a larger issue at hand.
"I guess what I will say to that is... like, I know gender roles is the topic, but it's just, to me, more so the fact it's still a topic... and we can't effectively communicate, address it and move forward," Will reasoned.
Kristine is married to Keith Dewar on Married at First Sight's currently-airing eighth season on Lifetime.
