Married at First Sight star Zach Justice says Mindy Shiben killed any attraction he might have had towards her when she allegedly flipped out on him and got "very nasty" one night during their Panama honeymoon.

During an appearance on the February 19 episode of Lifetime's Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Zach told host Jamie Otis his lack of attraction to his new wife wasn't "only physical."

"She's beautiful, but there's so much more to that for me personally," Zach revealed.
"And I think there were things that transpired that took that physical attraction away from me further."

"What happened? Help us figure that out," Jamie requested on Unfiltered.
Zach went on to recall a moment when he and Mindy returned to their hotel room after dinner during their honeymoon.
At this point in the Married at First Sight experiment, Zach had voiced he wasn't attracted to Mindy multiple times and so they had a very awkward and uncomfortable dynamic.
"We get back from dinner and she like just flipped a switch and was very nasty about her tone with me," Zach claimed.
"For me, I was like, 'That's how you react to the situation -- is that?!' So that was a huge turnoff for me, and my walls definitely went up off of that."

Zach added, "And, you know, attraction goes [away] with it, especially when you don't have it initially."
Zach, however, said Mindy attempted to turn things around for the sake of their marriage.
"She knew what to do ultimately in the heart of things. She was committed to moving in, she was committed to the relationship. [But] she just said a lot of the wrong things and of course my perception is, like, 'This is a mess," Zach explained.

This wasn't the first time Zach accused Mindy of lashing out at him off-camera during the Married at First Sight process.

Zach claimed during the Unfiltered episode Mindy had told him off camera she wanted a divorce and to see other people during the last night of their honeymoon, adding that she also allegedly brought up the idea of not living together once they returned to Washington, D.C.
When Jamie asked why he decided not to move in with his wife, Zach replied, "Things didn't exactly end well coming out of the honeymoon."
Zach said Mindy had "a really tough response" to him being honest with her about his feelings -- or lack thereof, in this case -- and so she said, "I want a divorce."
Jamie appeared shocked on Unfiltered that Mindy allegedly threatened Zach with divorce, especially since viewers have watched Mindy put so much effort into her relationship and say she wanted her marriage to work out so badly.
"She said she wanted a divorce?" Jamie asked for clarification.

"Yeah," Zach replied. "The same night [during our honeymoon]. And then the next day, she was like, 'I think we should see other people,' which was kind of alarming for me."

Zach further claimed of his conversation with Mindy, "It started off as, 'You can go to your place; I can go to my place. We can stay at our separate places.' And I think space for me was going to be the most important choice at that point."
From the way Married at First Sight's tenth season has presented Zach and Mindy's relationship, it appears Zach was the one who refused to move in with Mindy because he wanted to establish a friendship naturally instead of being forced into a romance.
Zach said he didn't want to "put on a show" just for the sake of following the Married at First Sight process.
Mindy also claimed during the February 12 episode of Unfiltered there was "no indication" Zach was taking their marriage seriously.
"I'm following through on my commitments. I'm hoping Zach will eventually decide to move in and really make this work, but only time will tell," Mindy told the cameras during a recent episode of Season 10.
Mindy has been shown giving the marriage her all, with her friends saying the figure skater deserved better and Zach was "full of sh-t."
In the latest tenth-season episode, however, Zach was shown making an effort by meeting Mindy and her friends at a game bar. He also showed up for a wine night at what was supposed to be his new, shared apartment with Mindy.
Zach claimed he was hoping he would miss Mindy and want to spend more time with her if they were living apart.
Married at First Sight's tenth season also stars Michael Watson and Meka Jones, Katie Conrad and Derek Sherman, Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid, and Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd.
