Married at First Sight star Kate Sisk admits her wedding day wasn't exactly a dream given some very "awkward" moments in between the highlights.

"I felt very awkward about it. I wanted the pictures to look really nice, but then anything that kind of required us to be, like, touching, Luke got really weird. And so then I felt weird," Kate admitted.

Luke shied away from all public displays of affection after marrying Kate, as shown on Season 8 of Married at First Sight.
Not only did Luke reluctantly kiss his wife at their photographer's request, but he also rejected Kate when she had attempted to steal a smooch at their wedding reception when guests were tapping their glasses to hopefully see a little action.
"What kind of vibe did you get from [Luke]? Did you feel like he was into you?" Jamie asked Kate given the circumstances.
"I feel like the wedding, I didn't even process the attraction level or the chemistry because we were just thrown into everything and I wasn't really thinking about that yet. I just wish he felt more comfortable. It was awkward."
Kate and Luke's Married at First Sight co-stars, Kristine Killingsworth and Keith Dewar, however, had no problem with physical intimacy early on.
While Kristine and Keith took photos together on their wedding day, they could barely keep their hands off each other!

"I didn't mind it at all," Kristine said of her husband on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered. "His lips were very soft."
But Kristine wasn't surprised Kate and Luke struggled to be affectionate during their first day together as man and wife.

"It was awkward," Kristine reasoned. "It was really awkward because you still remember that you just met this person, like, he's attractive and we're married now, but I didn't think we'd be kissing this much right away!"
In addition to Luke, Kate, Kristine, and Keith, the currently-airing season of Married at First Sight on Lifetime also stars AJ Vollmoeller and Stephanie Sersen as well as Will Guess and Jasmine McGriff.
