Martin Gelbspan made a big impression on Michelle Young in Week 2 of The Bachelorette's eighteenth season.

While a group of Michelle's guys was doing pushups during a Top Gun-inspired date, Martin snuck over to the Bachelorette to talk to her privately. He said he wanted to check up on her after the drama over her connection and supposed past relationship with Joe Coleman.
Michelle appreciated the gesture, and he definitely won some points with The Bachelorette star.
Michelle later told Martin that he has so many different layers to him as well as depth -- and that's what she's looking for in a partner. The couple kissed, and Michelle noticed Martin's huge effort that day, which pleasantly surprised her.
"He's just this mature man who knows what he wants. I am very confident in trusting that Martin is here for me," Michelle said in a confessional.
Michelle then handed out the group-date rose to Martin for listening to her and being supportive. The group-date afterparty ended with Michelle whisking Martin away for a little dancing to instrumental music, which left Michelle in a really uplifted and positive mood.
Martin made himself a contender on The Bachelorette in Episode 3, and viewers can expect to see more of him soon.

Martin has been the owner of Gelbspan Fitness in Miami, FL, for almost 12 years. He began his business in June 2010 and first called himself a personal trainer before changing his official position to "coach."
"I help busy people get in the best shape of their lives without a gym," Martin boasts.

Martin previously worked as a sales assistant for Louis Vuitton from October 2011 to February 2013 in Aventura, FL.
He proceeded to get a job as a PT Tech at Force Physical Therapy, where he worked for almost two years, and then worked as a Personal Trainer at Equinox for one year.
Martin signed with Elite Model Management in July 2015, and he is still modeling today in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area with over six years of experience under his belt.
In 2018, Martin worked as a senior real estate consultant for Master Real Estate for over three years before founding his own real estate company.
Martin can speak three languages!
Martin, who says he would love to get lost in a foreign country, can speak English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Martin is proud of his "loud and fun" family, who emigrated from Argentina when he was 10 years old.

The Bachelorette bachelor attended two colleges
Martin received his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science in 2013 from Victoria University.
The suitor also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Florida International University in 2014.
In addition, Michael became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
