Viewers of the top-rated summer series can also expect to see more outrageous “secret tasks” for the suitors, more shocking revelations about each player’s past and a surprising setting for one episode’s notorious “lie detector” test. It was a top-10 show in total viewers with an average of 10.7 million persons on Mondays (10-11 p.m. ET).
"We're excited to return to Saturday nights with one of the strongest shows from last summer, and we think viewers will once again respond to this fun, light-hearted reality show," said Jeff Zucker, President, NBC Entertainment.
"Meet My Folks" is from NBC Studios and Nash Entertainment. Bruce Nash ("World's Most Amazing Videos") and Scott Satin ("The Most Outrageous Game Show Moments," "Extreme Gong Show") are executive producers.
