Melanie Bowers was a 33-year-old from Orwigsburg, PA, and Devar Walters was a 28-year-old from Runaway Bay, Jamaica when Devar arrived in America on his K-1 visa.
After originally appearing on Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance, Melanie and Devar were also part of the cast of Season 1 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.
They met while Melanie was on vacation at a Jamaican resort where Devar was working as a lifeguard.
Melanie has a son, Hunter, from a previous relationship. Devar proposed to Melanie while she was still vacationing, and she accepted.
Devar moved to the United States and the couple got married and are still together.
They also welcomed a daughter named Avah in November 2017.
