Melanie Brown is returning to American reality TV.

Brown, commonly known as "Mel B," will appear on America's Got Talent's eighth-season panel alongside fellow judges Howard Stern and Howie Mandel, according to the network.
While Stern's return had been previously announced, today's announcement also represents the formal confirmation that Mandel will also be back for this year's America's Got Talent edition.
"I'm thrilled to be part of this season of America's Got Talent and to get to work with Howie and Howard," Brown said in a statement. "It's so exciting to be bringing some Girl Power to the panel!"
"This exciting addition of the dynamic Mel B to our lineup of judges promises that fans will see a strong, talented and opinionated woman match up against our equally outspoken judges Howard Stern and Howie Mandel,' added NBC reality chief Paul Telegdy. "Her presence has powder-keg potential for lots of fireworks this summer as the #1-rated America's Got Talent will return with even bigger and more exotic acts than any year before."
Stern joined the show as a replacement for Piers Morgan last year while Mandel was added to the panel in 2010 as a replacement for David Hasselhoff.
Osbourne announced she was quitting America's Got Talent in August after NBC allegedly dropped her son Jack Osbourne from the cast of Stars Earn Stripes -- a physically-arduous, military-themed reality competition the network aired late last summer -- after he disclosed he has multiple sclerosis. NBC has denied the discrimination claim. Osbourne had joined America's Got Talent for its second season in 2007 as a replacement for Brandy Norwood.
Brown competed on the fifth season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars in 2007, finishing second with professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
After starring in Mel B: It's a Scary World, a reality series which aired on the Style network in 2010, Brown served as a judge on the last two seasons of Australia's edition of The X Factor and co-hosted last year's Australian edition of Dancing with the Stars.
