Michael definitely put his heart on the line by joining The Bachelorette as a single father.

The bachelor thought he had a real chance with Katie, but after Week 1, he was left doubting their connection. Michael was not asked to join Katie for a one-on-one date or either of the week's group dates.

Michael appeared visibly upset and bothered as he watched Katie advance her relationships with other men.

"Being away from my son, it's eating me alive," Michael confessed.

But according to an ABC press release for Episode 3, Michael will get his shot at love and accompany Katie on a one-on-one date.

Could Michael turn out to be everything Katie has been looking for, or will he be unable to give the Bachelorette his heart since a huge piece of his heart was left at home?

Until viewers can watch Katie and Michael's romance develop on the show, let's learn some information about this seemingly-sincere bachelor.
