Michael Jackson's mother has denied a recent report that his three children will appear on a new A&E reality series focused on the family.

In addition, Katherine told TMZ that Michael -- who was infamously protective of his children before he passed away in June -- would never want his kids on television, never mind a reality show.
Katherine was refuting a Wednesday Us Weekly report in which a source claimed that the three children would be included in the reality series.
A&E began developing a one-hour special that would follow Randy, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael Jackson as they prepared a new album and reunion tour earlier this year. It was reportedly intended to air as a "backdoor pilot" for a potential reality series.
However the project's status became uncertain when Michael died in June at the age of 50, as the network said it was taking a "wait and see" approach.
In August, A&E announced that it had decided to turn it into a reality series, however no details or premiere date was given.
