Those rumors about Mike Tyson getting his own reality television program just won't go away. After his earlier plans for a "one lucky fan trains to fight Mike Tyson" reality show went no where, a Variety report states that Tyson is now pitching a possible reality series in which he would travel the country to meet a cross-section of Americans.

According to the report, the boxer has been working with the ICM agency and Red Skies Entertainment to pitch the idea and other projects to network executives. Red Skies was the company behind Fox Sports Net's "Beyond the Glory" documentary on Tyson.

The reality show pitch is apparently just one of Tyson's many attempts to make money. Among other recent reports, the former heavyweight champion, who recently filed for bankruptcy protection, has signed a deal with a Japanese martial arts promoter in an effort to "diversify his income." Recent filings indicate Tyson owes $17 million in back taxes and another $10 million in other debts.
