"They are really enjoying each other's company," a source close to Lambert told Us, and "are spending New Year's together."
Ironically, Lambert began following her ex-husband Blake Shelton's new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, on Twitter around the same time news broke she's romantically involved with East, an Alabama native and avid hunter just like her.
Meanwhile, Stefani, 46, and Shelton, 39, confirmed their relationship shortly after Halloween and seem to be having a blast together -- both on and off The Voice set. The pair was just spotted at a Cardinals game on Sunday, taking some cute selfies.
Stefani has yet to follow Lambert back, but maybe it's unintentional.
Lambert and Shelton announced their divorce in July after four years of marriage, and part of the reason he bonded with Stefani so quickly was because she was also going through a divorce with Gavin Rossdale after 13 years of marriage. Rossdale allegedly cheated on the No Doubt songstress with their sons' young, blonde nanny.
Lambert reportedly told Cosmopolitan magazine in its January issue she wants a fulfilling life, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's anticipating flowers and rainbows all the time.
"I just want to live a life full of everything. Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey and going, 'Man this sucks right now.' I don't necessarily want to know that I have really bad, long, lonely nights ahead of me, but I have had some, and I still have a bunch ahead of me," explained the former Nashville Star finalist.
