ABC has announced the July 23rd 11th episode of "Mole II" attracted its largest audience and best adult 18-34 rating of the series, generating ABC's highest adult 18-34 delivery in the hour since November 2001. Together with 'According To Jim' and the finale of 'Houston Medical,' it allowed ABC to post its strongest Tuesday night of the summer in viewers and young adults.

Episode 11 of Mole II: The Next Betrayal" posted the series' best results this summer among Total Viewers (7.8 million) and Adults 18-34 (3.8/12) and second highest with Adults 18-49 (3.5/10). The program placed a solid second in the hour, trailing only Fox's "American Idol." In fact the series notched its strongest delivery ever in the hour opposite the Fox summer series in all three measures.



"Mole II" produced the time period's strongest ratings with Adults 18-34 in 8 months (11/06/01) and Men 18-34 (3.5/12) in 10 months (9/25/01) with entertainment programming. On average, "Mole II" has increased ABC's delivery in the hour by 6% among Adults 18-34 (3.3/10 vs. 3.1/10) and by 28% among Teens 12-17 (2.3/9 vs. 1.8/7), as compared to the Network's performance in the hour last summer. The whodunit series has also posted sizeable gains to the Network's delivery of young men in the hour, as compared to last summer, up 33% among Men 18-34 (2.8/10 vs. 2.1/7) and 8% among Men 18-49 (2.7/8 vs. 2.5/8).
